Great place, location, and hosts

Really enjoyed this property- would definitely stay again! The hosts were super attentive and helpful the moment we made the booking and throughout the stay. The property was as described and had plenty of space. Great location and moments to the shore. Super quiet area, very family friendly. Grateful to have stayed here!

Fantastic house!

This beautiful home is the most well-stocked I’ve ever stayed at. From towels to paper goods to soap and kitchen necessities, there was not one thing we lacked. The view is stunning, the ample seating is much appreciated, and the mattresses were all very comfortable. I highly recommend this great house!

What a great place ! beautifully set up and great time with family for memories and sharing time with each other

Had a very enjoyable time ! Brought my elderly dad and my sister and her fiancé my wife, and I really enjoyed sharing time with them. With all the beautiful views outside the on the patios or just looking out the windows. The house and grounds around the house very well taken care of !

Great house

The house is great. We stayed at the house for a few days with another family. There was only a total of 8 people in the house, and the house was perfect for us. Plenty of space, great backyard, view of the lake, and a firepit to enjoy smores with the kids. Can't recommend it enough. Plus, dealing with Lori is always so easy and enjoyable.

Always feels like home

Just like each time we stay, things are clean and welcoming. All the conveniences of home right on the water. The kids love playing in the water.... and so do our dogs. Thank you all once again for giving us a home to make more memories.

Rented two retreats for a family reunion. The homes were perfect for our needs, clean and well stocked with the supplies that we needed. The views of the of Shasta Lake were outstanding. A big thank you to the owners for sharing your homes.

Family Vacation Dream Location

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Lake Shasta! This house was perfect for our group of 13 and honestly exceeded our expectations. If you’re traveling with multiple families or a large group, this place is hard to beat. The house was packed with amenities—from all the water activities and outdoor fun to a fully stocked kitchen that actually had everything we needed to cook for a big group. The AC worked amazingly well, which was a huge plus in the Shasta heat, and the massive dining table fit all 13 of us, making dinners together one of our favorite parts of the trip. The location was also fantastic. The marina is literally just around the corner, and we were able to walk right down to our boat whenever we wanted. It made spending our days on the lake so easy. And Lake Shasta itself was incredible—absolutely huge, beautiful, and even though we were there during summer, it never felt overly crowded. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, plenty to keep the kids and adults entertained, and it really felt like the house was designed for groups to come together and enjoy themselves. We made some amazing memories here and were genuinely sad to leave. We would absolutely stay here again and are already talking about making it a tradition. If you’re looking for the perfect Lake Shasta getaway for multiple families, I can’t recommend this place enough. Five stars all around!

Best Lakeside Vacation Home

Simply loved our home away from home. Stayed over Labor Day weekend with friends and family. Retreat 10 was quite comfortable with all the amenities included. Loved the view of the lake from our kitchen/balcony. There was access to the lakeside from the backyard allowing for waterfun with the Kayak and paddleboard on the property. Lori was so responsive when we reached out with questions. Thank you, Lori! We'll definitely be back!

Amazing views

This was our first trip to Shasta, and was so happy we found Shasta Lakeshore Retreat on Instagram! The house was big enough for our 12 adult guests. The dining table was perfect and we were all able to sit and eat together. The back patio sold us on renting this house, we spent every night there until it was quiet time. The house had amazing views of the lake and the rooms were cozy! Dave & Lori were super fast to respond to any questions and communicate any issues. We will definitely be back.

Great Lakefront location

Pretty much everything is new in this well equipped lakefront home. Easy walkable access to lake and marina. 3.5 beautiful baths, 2 master suites upstairs with family room and huge dining table with addition family room downstairs. 2 bedrooms down with one have double bunks! Bonus points for a great a/c! Can’t wait to come back

Paradise awaits

This is an awesome property The hosts Lori and Dave are very friendly and approachable with any questions or needs The house is great. Super big smart TVs, game room, kayaks, paddle boards, beach chairs, life vests, board games, and more. The kitchen is very well equipped and has pretty much everything you'll need. The view is amazing and only 50 or so steps to the water. The water was warm and inviting. I'll definitely be back and have already recommended the house to multiple people!!!

Great Stay!

Our family had a fantastic time at this home on the lake. Everything was perfect including the lake level. The host was so sweet and very helpful. The only issue was the cleaners told them that there was dog fur on the linens but we absolutely did not take a dog. Thankfully, the host believed me and all was fine :) We loved this retreat and our family is already planning our stay for next year. I highly recommend renting this unit for a perfect lakeside getaway.

Just gets better!

This was our second stay this year at the same home hey, if you got a boat, you have to use it! Our first visit we made some suggestions and lo and behold. Those suggestions were followed and made our stay even nicer. Lorie and Dave could not be more responsive for any detail that needs to be addressed my only hesitation and leaving this review is less time for me to enjoy the home next year, do yourself a favor and visit one of the beautiful homes

Perfect house for a family vacation!

This was such a great house for our family vacation! I loved that there was enough seating for us all to eat together - both upstairs and downstairs. The two living rooms made it perfect get some space when needed, and allowed some to go to bed early and some to play cards into the wee hours of the morning without having to stay quiet. The kitchen space was awesome and worked great for a large group that likes to cook! The hot tub was the perfect place to enjoy coffee in the morning and on the cooler days it was a great treat after getting off the water. The large patio below was an awesome spot to all hang out together and do whatever we pleased. The beds were comfy, and everything was clean and ready for us when we got there. We liked it so much that we already re-booked for next year. :-) Thanks again for the awesome place to stay and play!!

Once again….

I really do love this house and so does my family. That is why we keep coming back to it. It’s well located near the Lake and Sugarloaf Marina. Improvements this year include a new staircase, getting into the property, which cut the stairs in half a huge help. Once you’re in, you’ll find two bedrooms on the first level with great bathrooms and a half bath downstairs another two big bedrooms and a full bath with a game room. Another addition this year is the backyard is a little more secure with better fencing already booked for next year. I don’t know what more I can say.

Nice house, great views, nice yard and access to the lake.

House was very nice, recently renovated. View of the Marina and lake off the decks were relaxing and beautiful. The yard was open and clear, not covered in underbrush. Access to the water was easy. Had a great time.
