Nice 2 story lake house with comfy beds, a well equipped kitchen, LR, 1 1/2 baths.Good linens and towels and applicances, including W/D. The lake front was close to the house and convenient to sit on the lawn or swim from the beach. Nice small deck on side of house for meals. Great views of Pitcher Mountain and close to Keene, Peterborough and other towns.

The pictures and descriptions were all accurate. As a 76 year old woman, I found the hill from the parking to the home a bit of a challenge. My balance is not wonderful and I am glad I had treking poles with me. The view of the lake was marvelous which is one of the primary reasons I chose the listing. The bedrooms were very pleasant and overall everything I wanted was available. The kitchen had all the amenities need, and the heating system worked will.

Weekend getaway

Great updated lake home with gorgeous views from every room...perfect for totally unwinding with our dogs. Our lab was in heaven!

Great Lakeside Cottage

Amazing getaway on the lake

Really lovely property right on the water. The views from the sitting room and bedrooms of the lake and foliage are fantastic, and the deck and lawn are spacious and well-appointed with a nice grill, fire pit, and seating. Check in process was seamless and communication with our hosts was great. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet getaway with friends or family!

Relaxing by the lake

We enjoyed this home surrounded by nature; the lakeside fishing, the beautiful flowering dogwood trees and incredible songbirds serenading us daily. We downloaded an app - Merlin ID - to distinguish which birds were present. The place itself provided comforts of home and we slept peacefully in bed. Bring insect repellent as May brings out the bugs.

Peace and comfort

A definite gem on Highland Lake. We brought kayaks and paddle boards, and enjoyed the many lake birds we heard and saw. Stars were bright at night - we spotted a couple meteors and the Milky Way. The house is very comfortable - clean and modern - and the views from the windows of the lake were lovely. Highly recommend!

Spring Visit

Great way to kick off late spring in New Hampshire. Place was a great quiet location right on the water. It was a bit damp due to rains but with the right gear it was wonderful. The property was well appointed with everything we needed. With a few steps we were standing in the water. Has a nice deck and a location for a fire (too wet for an outdoor fire for us).Great location for a trip of beautiful New England tows. Big community of Keene not too far for major supplies.

Perfect Getaway for Our Little Family

We had such a wonderful stay at Jaimee and Tim’s lake house! It was the perfect spot for a relaxing trip with just the three of us—two adults, a toddler, and of course our furry friend. The home was cozy, clean, and well-stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to extra blankets.The best part was definitely the lake access—mornings on the deck with coffee and peaceful views, afternoons playing by the water, and evenings watching the sunset were magical. Our little one loved exploring the yard, and our dog was in heaven with all the space to run and sniff!The hosts were responsive and thoughtful, and the whole experience was smooth from booking to checkout. Highly recommend!

Even better the 2nd time

My mom and I love this place! The weather was perfect so helped. Very clean and Tim was very helpful when I had a question.Tv is a little quiet for my mom who is hard of hearing so we brought our headphones this time. Couldnt get the grill to light which was a bummer and had to go get lobster utensils as couldnt find those. But absolutely love the property, location, house, and water! We brought out kayaks and it was wonderful!
