Welcome to the Roost! Our five-bedroom cabin located near Estes Park, Loveland, and Fort Collins, Colorado. Set on more than 19 acres and bordering National Forest, our home will give you and your whole crew a peaceful getaway from the craziness of normal life. You'll enjoy brand new furniture (purchased Fall '22) that helps create comfortable spaces for your whole family to relax and have fun. Further, this 6,700 sq ft. home was the pride and joy of a master builder, and has five bathrooms + six bedrooms, along with a couple of other sleep areas. The open floorpan creates many small "conversation areas" perfect for sneaking away and reading a book ... and also has many large group spaces capable of holding your whole party. Further, five of the bedrooms have their own bathrooms. An expansive deck surrounds much of the house, letting you easily move between in and out. A large yard area makes space for an impromptu game of football, and the lot has plenty of space for your whole party to park. We just regraded the driveway, but we still recommend a 4WD vehicle for everyone in your party if you come in winter months. There is a lower parking lot available by the detached garage where you can park too if you don't bring a 4WD car.

Once inside, you'll be able to access the entire space except for the unfinished basement and detached garage. Please don't hesitate to message or call us if you have any other questions - ‭(970) 980-3006.

Big base camp

A huge house just outside of Estes Park nestled in between the mountains. The house was perfect for our group of boys and the living room was the perfect hang out spot after a long day of hiking. Very clean. Open the windows and fall asleep to the noise of the river below.

65th Anniversary

My brother and I wanted to do something special for our parents' 65th anniversary and Mom really loved the idea of being in or near Estes Park because she used to work up there in the 1950's. We had our grown children and a couple of cousins from Alaska join us for a few days. The set up was wonderful because every two people had a bedroom and bathroom. There was so much space that we could have family dinners together every night but smaller 1:1 conversations, too! Mom and Dad were on Cloud 9! Thanks so much for allowing us to have such a special time together in your wonderful home!

Awesome Roost

The Roost is a wonderful place for a large family to stay. We had three generations and there was plenty of room for all 10 of us. We enjoyed the large sectional and tv for watching movies. Plus there was plenty of space in the large kitchen to prepare our meals. And the large dining table had 12 chairs so we could all sit together. We loved the location. It was so peaceful and quiet. Plus the sound of the rushing river was so calming. It is located about halfway between Loveland and Estes Park which made it convenient for shopping. Plus there’s a general store just a few miles away at Glen Haven for basic supplies and ice. It is also close to Rocky Mountain National Park so there is plenty of things to keep everyone entertained. Plus Casey, the owner, was so easy to work with. We would gladly stay here again when we return to the area. The Albert Family

Huge Home experience

When we travel with our two daughters and their families we require a residence that will sleep 10 people with at least 5 bedrooms if possible and the same number of bathrooms to keep everyone happy and this home met all our needs. The location is great located with a 20 minute drive into Estes Park Colorado, paved highway, but you are truly in the mountains and a stones throw from the Big Thompson River. The home had everything we needed for our stay and the layout provided ample space for our family to dine at the table together or separate for watching tv or a game of ping pong on the different levels. Rocky Mountain National Park is a 30 minute drive to the entrance, depending on traffic, with lots of other things to do in the area. We have used VRBO locations for many years now and will keep this place on our list to return to.
