Comfortable, Pet friendly. Don't plan on being able to use the dock as the walkway going to it is in disrepair and you have to climb an incline to even get to the shore because there are no stairs.
We had a great long weekend at Lee’s place. The house was perfect for us and very comfortable. We enjoyed having a place for our boat for the Holiday weekend.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. You are welcome anytime.
It worked for us. Thankful for being dog friendly. Just realize it has to be one of the original houses built there in the 50s/60s. Loved having our boat at the dock. The dock could use a ladder to facilitate swimming.
Perfect to escape the city hustle, this spot is quiet and peaceful. A private dock for fishing and relaxation. The host communicates in a very timely manner.

Driveway is positioned next to the mailbox. We are at the lake so you park on the grass.
We rented this place as an extremely last minute decision for July 4th. The neighborhood is great, and most of the other houses have been renovated over the years. This place could use some work. It is older and appears to have been well loved by a few generations. The photos are fairly accurate… It’s nostalgic and homey. The driveway is nonexistent and a large fig tree almost blocks the view of the cottage from the road. Without a picture of the exterior on the listing, I thought it was a storage building at first. Antique furniture, antique stove, old carpet, but new fridge and microwave. Most things are very dated. A/C worked great, kept the house cool. It was preprogrammed to go up to 80 degrees, so I did have to keep adjusting it until the last day, then it seemed to stay at a normal temp. It served us well enough for a few days at the lake, but I definitely prefer something more modern. I’m disappointed in myself for paying the premium price I paid (holiday rates, I guess). This place would be good for a guys fishing trip or bachelor party weekend. We did love the screened in porch and enjoyed sitting up on the top deck of the dock and watching the fireworks across the lake.

Thanks for your 5 star review. Yes the home is nostalgic as it is a lake cabin in the woods. The stove is original 1965 and works perfectly. We decided to keep it during renovation in 2018 as an interesting piece. We park on the lawn here. No concrete jungle. Most of my reviews are 5 star and people come for the lake fun. Modern amenities include great web and cell phone reception, Smart TV and many additions for sanitization since and during Covid. Again thanks for the five star review.
