We really enjoyed our stay at the Granbury compound. The property is beautiful, clean, and well decorated, and the accommodations matched the listing description. Both houses were comfortable and thoughtfully set up, and the overall space worked great for our group. The main issues we ran into were with the appliances. The ice makers in both houses were nonfunctional, and the stove top had broken knobs, which felt like a fire hazard. Those things made cooking and daily use less convenient than expected.Bugs were a noticeable factor during our October weekend, but that seems more like a location and weather situation than a problem with the property itself.Overall, the compound is a lovely place and we’d recommend it—especially if the host gets the ice makers and stove knobs fixed before the next guests arrive. We’d happily stay again once those items are addressed.
