Lovely Cabin

My family of 9 stayed at 25 Pines property for a total of 7 nights during the COVID19 pandemic. The property manager, Paula, was communicative and quickly responsive regarding what was expected of us to abide by Maine’s current travel restrictions. The home itself was very clean upon arrival and check-in was seamless and convenient. Location was perfect - nestled in a quiet and shaded neighborhood, we felt very relaxed and took advantage of the opportunity to play cards on the covered deck and steam a lobster dinner to enjoy on the picnic table. It is a short drive (less than 10-15 minutes) to the sights of Bar Harbor, entrance to Acadia National Park, and grocery store. I also extend thanks to the property owner, Mr. Douglas, for stopping by to ask if he could take any trash out for us. He was kind enough to tell us of a good place to swim at Echo Lake. I don’t think we could have picked a better place to enjoy our first vacation to Maine. We had a great experience from start to finish and would recommend 25 Pines to anyone considering renting this property.

We were a family of 8. There were 3 couples and 2 children under the age of 7. We had plenty of room! The cabin is just a few miles from an entrance to Acadia National Park and a few minutes to Bar Harbor. Very convenient! We all loved our trip!

I highly recommend this property. The location was perfect--close to the town and Acadia's visitor center. Susan was friendly and responsive. After we left she found my son's wedding band and was kind enough to reach out and send it back. The property was exactly as described.

Susan and Doug were excellent hosts and our stay at their cabin was a wonderful experience. My family of 8 had enough room to stretch out and relax in their cabin and could easily come together for meals and activities,Susan and Doug were fantastic hosts and attended to all of our needs. When a question occurred or the gas grill didn’t light, they were immediately available to assist.The cabin is centrally located to the East side of Mount Desert Island. It was a quick 15 minutes into Bar Harbor and 10 minutes to the Hull’s Cove Park entrance.We had a great vacation thanks to Susan and Doug and their cabin.

Spacious, nicely maintained, great location. Excellent supply of toilet paper and laundry detergent. Could have used condiments, but we brought our own anyway. Might be good to advise guests that the water has a strong taste.

Perfect family vacation

This is the perfect house to visit Acadia, very close to the Hull’s cove visitor Center and the ocean (there is a rocky beach at the end of the street). The house was very clean and had plenty of room for our two families. Sand beach was the perfect place to swim in the Ocean.

Loved it!

We loved our stay here - house was clean and cute and a terrific location. We had 9 people - ages 8 to 71. This place was a great value, compared to other rental properties in the area. Highly recommend! We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful family vacation home

This was a perfect home for our large family. It is spacious, clean and offers all the amenities we needed. The location has lots of privacy and outdoor space for campfires each night. It's a short walk to the ocean and an easy drive to nearby restaurants and downtown Bar Harbor abd Acadia. Our hosts were wonderful and accomodating. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Maine.

Wonderful Time

We had a wonderful time at the Lovely Cabin. We comfortably fit 7 adults with room to spare. We were so close to everything including Acadia National Park. The hosts were so accommodating (and their restaurant Mainely Meats was one of the best BBQs we have been too). Thanks for the wonderful stay!!

This was a great place to stay! The hosts were very commutative and friendly. The proximity to the beach was fantastic, just a short lovely walk down the road. The kitchen was well equipped. All the rooms were large and spacious. I will say the lighting in the house is very dim and in our room In particular, the bed was not very comfortable. The bathrooms were spacious and well stocked with toilet paper and towels. The check in/out process was probably the easiest in any property we’ve ever stayed in. The proximity to Bar Harbor and Acadia NP is just perfect! Susan and Doug were gracious hosts and if we are ever in the area again, we would 100% stay here again!

Great trip

We took our entire family and spent the week. The cabin was very spacious, clean and suited our needs perfectly. The location was very close to Bar Harbor while still far enough away to avoid the tourists. Communications with the owners was prompt and accurate.
