The main level includes a living area with a queen size pull-out bed, kitchen with an apartment-size refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, and a single burner cooktop. The kitchen also includes a coffee maker, tea kettle, pots, pans, dishes, utensils, blender, coffee, creamer and sugar. The upper deck overlooking the waterfall features a grill, bistro table and chairs. The lower deck features an outside dining area, two chair hammocks and a 3-person hot tub which is the perfect way to finish off your hike up to the Appalachian trail. The deck area also includes an outdoor shower.

The beautiful detached ground-level bathroom features a shower, sink, incinerating toilet, bath towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner, and a hair dryer.

Just a few things to know to make your stay better:

The drinking water is delicious! We have a 500 ft deep spring well, the water is pure (better than bottled).

There is a trail to the waterfall that is accessed off the driveway by the "waterfall" sign. The trail is a combination of stair steps, platforms, and natural trail. This section is rocky and may be muddy so wear sturdy shoes.

Please, if exploring the property, keep your eye out for poison ivy. There is an area where we have a no trespassing sign (we call this poison valley)

The deck can be slippery when wet.

There is a trash box in the parking area. It is very important to re-attach the latches after placing your trash in the box to keep the bears out.

The treehouse has no curtains or sheer curtains we have left eye mask for you to use if the light bothers you.

Please rinse off before using the hot tub.

Next to the trash can in the treehouse is a bin for recycling, join us in staying green! Please rinse and place all can's, glass, cardboard and plastic in this bin.

Please use hot pads if placing any hot or warm dishes on all surfaces.

The single burner hot plate is induction. You will need to place your pan on the surface before you turn the burner on.

The hot tub towels (aqua blue) are located in the desk/ dresser under the window in the 2nd drawer.

This is a small space. The air conditioner works really well, if you are leaving the property for a few hours please turn off the air conditioner. Please don't run the A.C. with the windows open.

If using the outdoor shower (hot is cold- cold is hot) the handle is backwards.

If something breaks, if you run out of toilet paper or paper towels, liners etc. Please let us know so we can fix or replace it immediately.

If you need towels for a day trip, please don't take the treehouse towels. We are happy to bring you some beach towels, just let us know.

Do not lock the bottom lock on the front door. (You will lock yourself out)

Please turn off all outside lights when not in use.
