About this property
3 BRM Nestucca River Retreat in Pacific City
Our pet friendly home offers the best of the river and the sea. With its own private dock, it is located on the Nestucca River less than I mile from the beach. Whether you are taking advantage of access to one of the best salmon fishing rivers in the country from the dock or just watching the cows mosey through the pasture across the river from the dining room table or our beautiful deck, we dare you not to relax and enjoy. Our friendly rates are affordable allowing you to enjoy your stay longer.
Our living room adjoins the dining room and has plenty of cozy seating whether you’re reading or watching TV. There is a library of DVDs for your enjoyment as well as Yahtzee, Scrabble, cribbage, and many more games to play.
Our updated 3 bedroom home is fully equipped for 8 of your friends and family. We have one bedroom on the main level with direct access to the bath and a comfy queen bed. Upstairs sports a cool denim motif with a king dual controlled sleep number bed in the back bedroom. Bedroom 1 has an oversized double bed and an extra-long twin with a trundle below. Linens are provided.
We are a 1 bath home with a unique twist. There is a door between the shower/tub and sink/toilet areas. Each has its own entrance giving the basics of a 2 bath home.
Our kitchen has been recently updated with granite counter tops and sinks. We feature a refrigerator complete with ice maker, microwave, stove, washer, dryer, and an abundance of small appliances. Service for 8 or more is provided. Ready to picnic at the beach…the ice chest, roasting sticks, and pots for your crab await you.
Do you prefer to BBQ at home? Thel grill and utensils are ready; the outdoor table can be set. Our deck offers a large glass wind break for full enjoyment. Life jackets are available for your youngsters.
Your private dock gives you access for fishing, kayaking, and boating of all kinds. There is a boat launch opposite the grocery store for easy access to the river.
If you are celebrating a special event or just getting away, we welcome you. Remember you are just minutes away from a long walk on the beach, a magical climb up Cape Kiwanda, an award winning brew pub (The Pelican), numerous restaurants and shops. Whether you crab, clam, fish, cycle, hike, surf, hang glide, jet ski the waves of Tierra Del Mar, or 4 wheel the dunes of Sandlake we know it will be a vacation to remember.
