Property was nice and roomy for our family. Pool was wonderful. Beach access is tough if you have kids and a lot of items to bring. Recommend renting a wagon.

Great House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was great for our group of 9. We loved the pool and there was plenty of space. The bike ride to the beach was quick. There are some maintenance items that need addressed (master closet light bulb, master bedroom smoke detector missing, outdoor shower not working) and some of the mattresses and family room furniture are very worn.

Great location, lovely home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful house in a great neighborhood! Lovely backyard, easy walk to the beach/bike paths/walking trails. Great living space, very comfortable for our family of 4. PS Island Time is a great property management company -- very responsive. Highly recommend.

We stayed at this house because we have stayed on Gunnery several times at different homes and love the location for its proximity in Sea Pines and distance to the beach. The home is clean, well-stocked, has a pool and great for a big group. If that is all you need, then this home is perfect. We paid a premium for this home, and we don't feel like this property is up to that standard. If you are looking for a home that has nice furniture, great appliances and a spectacular pool, this is not it. The couches are lumpy and stained, the dryer leaves black marks on your clothes, the microwave is tiny, the stovetop needs updated (its electric), there is not a 2nd refrigerator (for a house that holds 14, that is a necessity) the water smells like sulfur when initially turned on (although the plumber did try to fix that during the time we were there without success), 1/2 the pool furniture needs replaced, the pool is stained (and was not cleaned during the week as stated). We will continue to vacation in Sea Pines but would not stay at this location again.
