Family built home, less than ten minutes walk from Long Sands beach. The first floor has a full bath, one bedroom with two XL twin beds, living room with ceiling fan and wood burning stove, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and screened porch, where the full-sized washer and dryer are located. Upstairs is a half-bath and two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with two queens, as well as a queen Aerobed stored in the closet, if needed. Outside the house, a swing is available in the front for relaxing with a view of the street, and the cozy back yard has a fire pit with plenty of seating, a covered patio area, and a hammock for kicking back after a "hard" day at the beach!

My family and I loved our stay at the pineapple house! It was clean, and fully equipped with everything we could have needed and more! Great location-was able to walk the dog to the beach each morning easily. Had a true Maine cabin vibe which I really adored! Host was responsive from the beginning, overall great experience!

Very warm and welcoming house. Comfortable for 4 adults, 3 young children and 1 dog. Short walk to the beach which we did a couple times a day. Short ride to York's Wild Kingdom Zoo which offered a fun visit. The fire pit was great to gather around and make s'mores while we played pass-the-story. Scott was wonderful and quick to communicate with. Highly recommended.

Clean, spacious and comfortable, 10 minute walk to Long Sands beach and a short drive to Short Sands, Ogunquit and Kittery. Loved the out door patio, it was nice and cool and there was a grill and fire pit. All the fans kept the place cool in the hot summer weather. We have an elderly English bulldog and she was very comfortable too!

Comfortable York Get-Away

My sisters and I had a wonderful reunion here. The property was as advertised, with wonderful additional amenities such as a hammock, cart for carrying chairs and boogie boards (provided) to the beach. A pleasant 8-10 min walk to York Beach. Quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds! The house is clean, no mustiness (which can easily build up in humid conditions). The host is very responsive in communications, eager to help out.

This was a great house to stay at! There were so many amenities available wether it was going to the beach or relaxing at the house. We didn't get a chance to have a fire pit and play music, but we did enjoy a nice meal under the canopy at the table. We all loved the pineapple accents all over the house. Very comfortable beds!!! My dog LOVED being here, going to the beach and chasing the seagulls and coming back to crash on her bed that we brought. No one wanted to leave and all of us want to come for another stay some time in the near future. Thanks so much!!!

A wonderful place to spend some time near the beach. The house was clean and everything was accurately described. The pineapple touches were so cute. Communication was excellent, Scott was a great host.

Just a really great experience. The host is so communicative and the location is perfect. It’s a really nice stroll to the beach and at the end of the street you come down is a great little store/restaurant/ice cream place. They even have coffee and breakfast in the morning. The house was so cute and fit everyone comfortably. There was a heat wave during our stay so my husband and I decided to sleep out on the four season porch on the extra long couch instead of upstairs and even that was surprisingly very comfortable. It is also only a 4 minute drive to York Wild Kingdom. Really great experience all around.
