Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, where you can easily prepare delicious meals to fuel your beach adventures. The cottage invites indoor-outdoor living, with double doors that open to the pool, and is complete with a grill, fire pit, and plenty of space to kick back. The house was beautiful and perfect for two families spending vacation together. The accommodations for the children and adults were perfect with extra pull out couches/ folding beds, included toys for the kids and of course the pool! Would highly recommend and would stay again!

We had a wonderful experience. It was 4th of July and even though the power went out, the owners were communicative and made sure we were accommodated. The property was perfect for our needs and our kids loved having the boat house. Will rent again if we are in the area visiting our family.

Beautiful house in a great location!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Boat House! It was the perfect space for our family - just a short drive to the beach. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely. We really loved all the outdoor space - especially the gorgeous outdoor shower. The hosts were responsive to all of our needs and went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. We will definitely be staying here again!

Everything from check in to check out went smoothly. The host was always available and very accommodating. The pool and the outdoor shower were amazing, the cottage was quaint and perfect for our group. The main house was gorgeous, clean and all the switches were labeled nicely. We enjoyed all the features of the house. The front porch sitting area, the fire pit, the pool, the outdoor shower, the kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed the area and would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay here—the location was great and made getting around super convenient. The property itself has a lot of charm and potential, with a nice layout and cozy touches. That said, the interior felt a bit cluttered in some areas, and the cleanliness could have been more thorough. It’s also worth noting that the space might not be the best fit for families with younger kids due to the amount of decor and tighter layout in the Boat House. Still, we had a comfortable stay overall and appreciated the host’s responsiveness.

This was truly an outstanding property that accommodated my entire family. The place was amazing with above ground pool and fire pit area. The main house has an awesome beach decor with a very cool down home feeling. The secondary house has room for more occupants and has a unique setting. The hosts were truly cooperative and friendly helping all the way till our stay. The price was spot on and affordable. We highly recommend the Boathouse for your Beach stay as it was fairly close to the beach!!!

Plantation Park 1 is a beautiful, quiet community conveniently located just a short drive from downtown Bethany Beach.

What makes this property unique

When we first toured the home, we were immediately drawn to the spacious kitchen, private backyard, and all the potential it held. At the time, the upstairs of the cottage was an unfinished attic and the downstairs a workshop—but we saw the opportunity to create a charming guest space. We got to work, transforming it into the cozy cottage it is today, complete with bedrooms upstairs and a comfortable living area below. One of our favorite things about the property is how easily it accommodates larger groups, especially with its inviting outdoor spaces.
