The charming cottage on Tripp Pond is very picturesque! It’s an older house, but well stocked and maintained and we appreciated the kayaks as it was a gorgeous fall weekend, and absolutely perfect for paddling. Check in was easy and the notes and explanations were very straightforward. Had a few friends join us for s’mores around the firepit on the small beach - a perfect way to wrap up our visit. One drawback is that the cabin water is nonpotable - not a big deal just unexpected. Definitely recommend this rustic rental for the super cozy vibes, well stocked kitchen (espresso, anyone?) and location.

We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay and got to make the most of the beautiful fall weather! We’d love to welcome you back in 2026 — by then, a new well will be installed, so the water will be potable, while the same cozy, rustic charm you loved will remain. We hope to see you again next year!

Reviewer Comments:
The cabin was well equipped, cute and cozy. Has a nice little beach and dock. The bedrooms are spacious for a small cabin. Nice bathrooms and it’s great having a washer and dryer. The water is really shallow which is great for kids. We enjoyed it. The location was perfect for us since I have family close by. There is no air conditioning but we got lucky it was cooler that week. Due to the age of the cabin and settling the floor is slopped and could be harder for older folks if wet or pine needles are in the floor. Nice little spot.
