I booked for Thanksgiving Day, the cabin has exactly everything you need. Felt like a home away from home. Very pet friendly, organized and spacious. The projector is a great idea; I brought my laptop over and we watched movies. The kids loved the games and puzzles. We had a lovely visit of a pair of deers.

Great property in secluded and quiet area. Large kitchen with all the equipment you need to stay at home and cook. Pet friendly with lots of room to roam and explore (located on very low-traffic road). Communication with host and property access was easy and straightforward. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in the woods. The wood-burning stove made the space warm and inviting, and having firewood provided was a great bonus. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend away with our pup—we spent our time painting, playing games, and truly unwinding. The host was very helpful and responsive throughout our stay. Our only small concerns were that it was a bit dusty with some cobwebs, and for those who like to reheat leftovers, there is no microwave. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend !

The property seems to be either renovated or very well kept. Either way, it’s the best one I’ve ever spent money on. I would LOVE to own a second home like this. It truly is a cozy cabin. You can find all you need for a short stay or a long stay. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. Whatever utensils we needed, we found. I love the interior set-up. Not too minimalistic and not too overcrowded. The books, the toys, the treehouse, the fire pit, the cook / cocktail books, all compensate that there is no TV. Anna has a projector that has a FireStick. One really can’t use that during bright summer days, but late evening movies are your option. The cabin has AC and has fans. Has a fireplace for cold nights. Be prepared for no cel service, but the WiFI coverage was excellent. This place is pet friendly and it was nice to see pet beds and bowls available for our pup.I was happy to be so close to the Minnewaska state park. Took the family hiking. But there are plenty of things to do in the area if your goal is do something instead of enjoying the peace and quiet this property provides.Overall this was one memorable trip. Please take care of this gem and follow the host’s house rules. Treat it the way I did: like it was my own, TLC!

We had a great stay - cozy beds, a large and bright kitchen, and a fun projector. The space was thoughtfully planned and well equipped for a lovely retreat.
