We absolutely loved our stay. Very comfortable beds and an enjoyable space to relax or use as a landing pad for the week. We especially loved the ability to open the front window in the evenings

We loved this two story beach house! So peaceful and secure. The bedrooms were spacious and beds were so comfortable. It had two living rooms. One upstairs and one downstairs. Full length couches, fully equipped kitchen. Washer/dryer. Very clean, modern. Two bathrooms with showers. Communication and check-in was efficient, Friendly! Location was so convenient. One block away from Von’s grocery. A few blocks away from restaurants and the beach. Also loved that the rental was in a very walkable area that was flat. Not hilly or up the mountain. We were able to call for a taxi easily to the Catalina Express.

This property is absolutely not conditioned for summer weather. For the thousand dollars or so a night that was being charged we mistakenly believed the property would come with air-conditioning. Temperatures within the property reached 98 during the day. We were entirely unable to be inside during most hours. Sleeping was also incredibly difficult. Unless you are looking for a large sauna, I do not recommend staying at this place during any of the summer months. The late night response team brought a couple of fans that pushed the hot air around the house. The next day the property managers took a “this sounds like a you problem” approach and wiped their hands clean of the entire issue. If the owner reads this, your renters deserve better. Just because you don’t explicitly list air-conditioning as a feature doesn’t mean it’s not natural to assume that a property at this price level will have proper temperature controls. No one should be asked to spend 1000 a night in a room that reaches 98.
