The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please turn back bedspreads on all used beds to let the housekeeper know what beds were used. Do not strip the beds!
Please run one load of towels in the washer - Do not overload the washer more than 1/2 full. Please run one load.
Pile any remaining used/soiled towels in the shower for the housekeeper.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No Children under 5 yrs old please! Absolutely No Pets Allowed other than Owners Pets. Guests will be asked to leave with a refund.
No Smoking in Unit or on Decks! $250 fine payable to Pajaro Dunes upon checkout!! ** No BBQ allowed on Decks at Pelican Point

What a beautiful and well-appointed space! Seamless from start to finish, with excellent quick communication from Sandy. The kitchen was the most well stocked we had ever seen in a rental with quality cookware and appliances, and my partner had a blast cooking multiple meals for us. The view from the living room and balcony was gorgeous and we enjoyed many evenings playing games as the sun set after a beach walk. Looking forward to our next trip!

What a delight place to stay! Beautiful view of the ocean, easy access to the beach, miles of sand to walk, and gorgeous sunsets! The condo was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The decor was charming with its pelican theme. Did I mention the hundreds of pelicans on the nearby beach and flying overhead? The best beach vacation we have ever had!

Great family get away!

The condo was lovely and the kitchen had everything you need to make meals - the whole condo was well stocked including enough towels and cozy blankets to wrap up in. The views were magnificent and the whole family enjoyed walking the beach and looking for sand dollars. The location is close to both Santa Cruz and Monterey/Carmel. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I grew up in San Jose and frequently spent time in the Santa Cruz beach area. We moved to Grass Valley and raised our family in the country but found ourselves renting vacation homes at various beach areas in California a few times a year.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Pajaro Dunes because of its location situated right on the beach - not down a rugged cliff, and the warm weather of the area pretty much year-round. The best part about it is: It's not crowded!
It is surrounded by ocean on the one side and acres of beautiful farmland on the other. We are just physically steps from the sand with unsurpassed views of the Pacific Ocean, overlooking Monterey Bay and Santa Cruz.

What makes this property unique

Pajaro Dunes is truly a natural paradise of tranquility. We love watching the wildlife in their natural habitat such as pelicans, various sea birds, sea otters, dolphins, California gray whales/humpbacks/killer whales migrating to Alaska or Mexico. Every time we visit our condo we spot whales in the bay and identify a new seabird or a native blooming plant. We love taking advantage of the areas fresh caught seafood and the freshly picked fruits and vegetables.
We think Pajaro Dunes is simply magical!
