The resort itself is excellent. The amenities—especially the pool—are very family-friendly and well suited for kids. Unfortunately, our specific unit was a major disappointment. The unit is in fair to poor condition and clearly not maintained to the same standard as the rest of the property. Cleanliness was a big issue. The place was dusty, surfaces were dirty, baseboards were soiled, and the ceiling fan had a noticeable layer of dust. The sliding glass door was streaked and looked like it had been wiped with a dirty cloth. What we initially thought were spills on the floor turned out to be general grime—the dish towel we used to clean it became visibly dirty. The unit had a musty mildew smell. The patio was also in unacceptable condition, with sticky residue and spills that hadn’t been cleaned.There are several maintenance concerns as well. The washing machine appears to be broken and makes loud banging noises. Multiple lamps don’t have proper switches, and several electrical outlets are damaged—plugs are loose, chargers fall out, and we even experienced sparking, which is a safety issue.The worst part was the beds and bedding. The sheets are old, rough, and heavily pilled. The mattresses are extremely soft and offer little support—we had to use extra pillows just to make them tolerable.Weve stayed in many motels, hotels and condos, and this is by far one of the worst we have experienced.
