About this property

Updated South Hill Craftsman - Sleeps 12!

Step into this tastefully furnished and beautifully preserved 1904 Craftsman full of character and charm. This historic home features five bedrooms, two bathrooms, original woodwork, antique lighting, and a classic clawfoot tub.

The well-equipped kitchen, complete with Viking appliances and granite countertops, makes cooking a delight. Gather on the front porch, unwind on the back patio, or enjoy a quiet moment on the upper back porch, there are plenty of spaces to relax together or find a peaceful retreat. Music lovers will also enjoy the home's baby grand piano.

Outside, the lush yard offers seasonal cherries, pears, herbs, and shade beneath a graceful weeping willow, all accented by solar lighting for evening enjoyment.

Please note that this is a multi-level historic home with steeper-than-average stairs. All bedrooms are located on the upper levels and one in the basement. There are two bathrooms: a second-floor bathroom featuring a compact clawfoot soaking tub and a main-floor bathroom with the home's only shower. As is common in many historic homes, both bathrooms are smaller than those found in newer construction.

The home does not have central air conditioning. Window A/C units are installed in two bedrooms, and the third floor suite has its own portable A/C unit. However, during peak summer months, particularly when temperatures exceed 75°F, the third floor can become quite warm and may be less comfortable for sleeping. If you are booking during June, July, or August, please consider whether your group has enough alternative sleeping arrangements should the third-floor space feel too warm.

Located near downtown Spokane, the home offers easy freeway access and is close to a neighborhood park, playground, bluff hiking trails, Manito Park, and the beautiful tree-lined streets that make Spokane's South Hill so special.
