Has a Kitchenette (Mini-Fridge, mini-sink, Microwave, coffee maker, paninni maker, dedicated weber outdoor gas grill), nice front porch, sun room, WIFI, large screen TV, fire place, fire pit, bocce court. Fishing on 800 ft. of riverfront on famous "Doctor's Hole" (one of the best fishing holes on the river) with fly fishing lessons and guide services available from the host, who has fished the Housatonic for over 30 years. We live on the property in the main house and the Cottage is very private and secluded. The cottage is a 900 sq. ft. one-room, one bath cabin with a front porch and a sun room. It was recently gut renovated so is in like-new condition. The bathroom has a shower (no tub). The property is very private, with 5 acres at the end of Kirk Road, with sweeping views of the river and the surrounding river valley. The cottage has beautiful views overlooking the pond and the river. The front porch is a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee. Aside from fishing, there are opportunities for kayaking, rafting, biking and hiking and there are many local cultural and other attractions along with many good local restaurants.
