Many of the complaints raised involved expectations and items that were never advertised or included with the rental. For example, the guests complained that the refrigerator was not stocked with groceries such as milk, butter, and other food items, despite the listing never stating that groceries would be provided. They also expected daily housekeeping service, which is not offered and is not advertised anywhere in the listing. The property was professionally cleaned prior to arrival. When concerns were reported, they were addressed promptly and additional assistance was offered. The guests also reported safety concerns to VRBO, resulting in a formal review of the property. After investigating, VRBO found the property to be safe and took no action against the listing. Finally, this home is not advertised as wheelchair accessible or ADA compliant. The layout, photographs, and description accurately disclose the property’s features! Guests are encouraged to carefully review the listing details before booking to ensure the property meets their individual needs and expectations.
