Enjoy the peaceful neighborhood experience on a tree lined street with just a 3-block walk to the heart of downtown's dining, eclectic shops, and gorgeous white sandy beachs. Your ideal TC retreat awaits!

The Wadsworth House is full of historic character with modern upgrades. This space is ideal for a small group of friends or a family. The kitchen has everything you need to enjoy a meal or play a game of cards at the 6 person table. Next to the kitchen is a thoughtful tearoom where you can relax with a good book or watch your favorite show. From there you'll find the queen and full bedroom with a newly renovated bath. The master bedroom is privately nestled away on the 3rd floor with a spacious attached full bath. The driveway can accommodate 2-3 vehicles.

Great stay in Traverse City! We had a very early flight and they were able to accommodate an early check-in which was greatly appreciated. The place is immaculate and truly has everything you need!

Our stay at The Wadsworth House could not have been better. While I've visited Traverse City dozens of times, the location of this property made our visit so much better. I love that it's located in such a quiet historic neighborhood but so close to downtown shops/restaurants and the beach.Communication with the host was great. The check-in process was well explained and very smooth. Daena and Jason were super responsive, tho everything was intuitive enough that I didn't really have any questions.The space was beautifully decorated very spacious and very clean. Really enjoyed the upper floor having its own bathroom. It was well appointed, everything we could have possibly needed was there. It was obvious that the hosts took great care in making sure that our experience was above and beyond what you'd expect from most short term rentals. It felt like we were staying in a suite at a luxury resort.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is full of charming historic Victorian homes dating back to the late 1800's. The convenient location can't be beat! Downtown is so close as well as the beaches. There's no need to drive anywhere.

What makes this property unique

The Wadsworth House is a historic boarding house that was home to the early workers of Traverse City. Later she became a home for women for much of her life before becoming an Inn in 2012. After closing the Inn during COVID for 5 years, we decided to change direction and open up the entire second floor as an apartment for families and groups to visit Traverse City.
