Stacy's 2nd St Cottage. Steps to downtown.

1200 sq ft downstairs cottage located in the historic railroad district 1/2 block to downtown and a five minute walk to the festival with easy access to shopping and groceries. Park your car and leave it. Easy walking everywhere. The cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath with double sink. 1st bedroom has king bed, 2nd bedroom has two twin beds. Kitchen is fully equipped. Washer/Dryer, wireless internet, and 2 tv’s With local channels and Roku streaming.
Outside area is a beautiful large private courtyard with comfortable seating, a propane fire-pit, a propane barbecue and a private hot tub spa just for your use. Private off street parking with easy access to back entrance of cottage. Electric outlet in guest parking area. Free EV charging station in City of Ashland public parking lot one block away. This is one of three residences on the property. Owner lives in the upstairs apartment, which has a separate entrance and outdoor area. The second residence is separated from the cottage by a fence and provides privacy. There are no shared spaces.

We really enjoyed staying at Stacy's 2nd Street Cottage. It was close to the plays, grocery shopping, the center of town, and the main road to the freeway. The cottage had everything we needed including a lovely area for outside eating.

Fabulous cottage

Stacy’s cottage was just lovely, and so well located. Kitchen well equipped. Little gas fireplace so nice on cool nights. She even provided us with cushions to take to the theater.

Wonderful stay all around.

This is such a wonderful place with a beautiful backyard patio. The house is clean, quiet and conveniently located just a few blocks from the festival , so there is no need for driving and parking downtown since everything you need is in walking distance. We never had the chance to meet our host, but we did meet her mother who lives in the front cottage. She was very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to staying here again the next time we are in Ashland.

Second time at Stacy's

This is the second year in a row we've stayed at Stacy's lovely cottage. It is absolutely perfected situated for easy walking to downtown Ashland, with plenty of other local amenities very close by, including the food co-op, post office, banks, interesting shopping that's not on Main Street. The space is just right, beautifully kept, with a lovely little patio in front with a fountain, potted flowers, a table with umbrella and fire pit, a hot tub (that one day we will use!). Kitchen is well-kitted out. We love the place!

Great central location

We chose this home because of the location to downtown and being able to walk everywhere. It didn't disappoint. Stacy was great to work with, the cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Hot tub is newer and was great. Stacy lives upstairs but we rarely heard her or the other neighbors even though its close quarters on all sides. We recommend Stacy's cottage especially if you like be within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants, Ashland is such a great foodie town.

Perfect 10!

First impression was how spotlessly clean the cottage was. Plenty of dresser and closet storage space, ample bath linens, enough paper products to last our whole trip. Charming decorations and heavenly outdoor space - her landscaping attracts hummingbirds and the hot tub is as impeccably clean as the house. Location is amazing - easy walk to restaurants, coffee shops, theaters and the park. Stacy was a helpful friendly host. She walked us into town the first day to show us the lay of the land. The next day she knew we were going to Crater Lake and gave us a charming diner suggestion for huckleberry pie (they were not in season but the boysenberry was yummy). Hope we can return to her lovely oasis some day!

I have owned this property since 2005. I truly enjoy living downtown Ashland so close to theaters, Lithia Park and all the downtown activities.

Why they chose this property

The best location in town! This location is quiet and easy stroll to town ,theaters, Lithia Park and University. The cottage is also very close to the Ashland food co-op, Safeway and the downtown library. Great location for biking the bike path and great hiking and mountain biking trails above Lithia Park.

What makes this property unique

Large private outdoor courtyard fully furnished for dining or just relaxing by outdoor fountain or hot tub . Favorite activity for most of our guests on a cool evening is sitting on sofas around firepit enjoying a glass of wine or favorite drink.
Electric outlet in guest parking area . City of Ashland has free EV Charging in public lot one block away
Location is everything!. Once you are here park and walk. Multiple tour companies will take you wine tasting or rafting
