Welcome to your dream getaway in Tahoe City, CA where comfort, style, convenience and breathtaking scenery come together. Thoughtfully updated and lovingly maintained, the home features a well-stocked chef’s kitchen—perfect for home-cooked meals and entertaining—along with stunning views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra mountains from both lake-view decks and the cozy living and dining areas. Grand picture windows and exposed wooden beams create a warm, classic Tahoe atmosphere.

Designed with families and groups in mind, the home offers two spacious living rooms for relaxing or gathering, a large dining table overlooking the lake and a backgammon table and other games for easy, unplugged fun. Enjoy meals indoors or outside on either of the two decks while taking in the alpine views.

This property has been in our family for nearly 50 years. Although it is rentable for a few select weeks per year we do not think of this as a rental property. We consider this our home away from home and we hope that while you are here you will enjoy and care for it as you would your own home.

Load the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please put towels in the laundry room
Please put all perishable trash in the exterior bear box
Be sure to lock all doors and replace the dowels in all window and sliding door tracks. Bears are a real threat to our home if you do not do this. Thank you!

Dollar Point offers a little of everything. While situated in a quiet neighborhood with 100 year old pine trees and expansive lake views it also offers close proximity to trails, shops, restaurants, skiing and free beaches. Within a five to ten minute drive there is something for everyone or just enjoy a walk around the neighborhood.

What makes this property unique

This property has been in our family for nearly 50 years. Although it is rentable for a few select weeks per year we do not think of this as a rental property. We consider this our home away from home and we hope that while you are here you will enjoy and care for it as you would your own home.
