Property was located in a much lower income and sketchy neighborhood. No broom closet with mop and broom to clean cooking spills. Therefore we did not cook not to mention there is no dishwasher. Deal breaker in my opinion. I’m staying in an home environment instead of a hotel and wanted to cook. But wanted to be able to load dishes in a dishwasher and go on about our vacation. Also, when people are staying a week in a property need to be able to clean their toilet more than once during that time yet, only a used toilet brush and no cleaner was provided.

As noted in our listing, the Pickle Cottage does not have a dishwasher, and many guests choose the home for its cozy, cottage-style experience and convenient location just minutes from downtown Rapid City and the Black Hills. Regarding cleaning supplies, we were happy to offer additional items beyond the vacuum/cleaning supplies available, including a broom, during your stay.
