Excellent Stay in HHI!

Really a nice condo and very convenient to stores, golf courses, restaurants, etc. We had family staying at the Marriott Surfwatch and it was literally 5 minutes down the road. We would definitely stay here again!

6/10 Okay

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
The location of this unit was great and the pool was really nice. The unit was clean but the carpets in every room were heavily stained. The towels and sheets were poor quality and scratchy, kitchen garbage can was broken (had to open it with a piece of tape attached to the lid) and the master shower has a direct line of sight to the window of another building with no blinds or curtains for privacy. At checkout you have to clean AND put away the dishes, which is a first in over 25 years of renting vacation properties. I hate to be negative but honesty matters for those of us who rely on reviews before we book. With some upgrades and new carpet this could be a great place to stay.

Response from VrboOwner on 7 Aug 2026
Hi, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the location, the pool, and that you found the unit clean. We appreciate you bringing the stained carpets, the condition of the towels and sheets, the broken kitchen trash can, and the lack of privacy in the master shower to our attention. We'll share your comments with our housekeeping and maintenance teams so these items can be reviewed and addressed. Regarding the dishes, we ask guests to load and start the dishwasher before departure to help our housekeeping team prepare the home for the next arrival. We apologize if the checkout expectations were unclear or different from what you've experienced at other vacation rentals. Thank you again for your honest feedback. We value your comments and will use them to help improve the guest experience.
