Dear Property Management Team,I am writing to formally document the extremely disappointing and unacceptable condition of the vacation rental upon our arrival and throughout our stay.Unfortunately, the problems were far more extensive than initially reported. The property was not properly cleaned, inspected, or maintained prior to our arrival. The issues we encountered included:• All of the bedsheets were dirty, not just one set. Clean sheets should be a basic expectation when checking into a vacation rental.• We found what appeared to be blood on some of the bedding/sheets, which was especially disturbing and unsanitary.• The refrigerator was extremely dirty and disgusting and had clearly not been properly cleaned before our arrival.• The shower curtain was dirty.• There was a pile of old, dirty laundry upstairs in the room to the left.• There was sand all over the couch in the loft area.• The patio was extremely dirty and appeared not to have been cleaned prior to our arrival.• A cabinet door was completely broken off.• Another door was broken.• The blinds were torn/damaged.• A bed was broken.• There big holes in the wall.• All cloth seating was dirty • We experienced running water/plumbing issues.• There was no water at all in the upstairs shower.• Overall, the entire house was dirty and not in an acceptable condition for guests.
