4 bedroom home with two story decking overlooks the shaded rock landscaped path leading to your private sandy beach, complete with dock, 4 kayaks and one canoe. Fish, boat, read and relax in the hammock by day, stargaze by night!

The Upstairs gathering space boasts high vaulted light oak wood ceilings & floors, sky light, floor to ceiling fireplace, leather sofas, whimsical rocking chairs, flat screen TV and WiFi. The state of the art kitchen is complete with granite counter tops, tile floors, dishwasher, microwave, and trash compactor. The open kitchen island gives the space great flow into the the dining area, living area, outdoor deck and screened porch, complete with a second dining table and gas grill. A wall of glass doors draws your focus towards the deck overlooking the treetops and lake. The upstairs Master Bedroom has vaulted ceilings, and deck, and bathroom.

First floor (ground level) has three bedrooms, a large deck with table and seating that overlooks Deer Trail Lake. There is a laundry room, full bathroom and outdoor shower. Bedroom #2 has Queen bed & 1 set of Bunk beds; Rm #3 has 2 sets of Twin beds; Rm 3 has Queen Sleeper,TV and DVD with deck overlooking the lake.

The pictures does not do this house justice! The views are beautiful the lay out is welcoming yet private. We spent Easter weekend here and it was amazing! It didn’t matter that the weather was chilly because we utilized the outdoor fire pit all day and even went kayaking! This was a wonderful house with a gracious host and friendly neighbors. Great home close to camelback and JFBB

The house was very clean and close to many attractions. It would have been nice to be able to use the lake Naomi clubhouse amenities but with covid they were not doing temp memberships which was a bit disappointing. The house was very cozy and well appointed. Important to know the 4th bedroom is a den with glass French doors so not as much privacy as the other 3. Also the kitchen was missing a few staples items - good knives, Colander but otherwise well equipped. If you plan to cook I recommend bringing your own chef knife. My only other complaint is that the driveway and steps were not well cleared. The steps to the property were really icy and my husband took a bad fall. Some salt left at the property would have been useful. Overall great stay and wonderful time had by all!

Picturesque location but house could use updating

We rented this house for a month in August 2021. While the house is well situated at Lake Naomi, and it's picturesque to have the pond in view, the house itself was a disappointment. It had tons of potential to be wonderful, but we found it to not be clean or well kept. The owner is absolutely lovely, and was very responsive to our request to have the house cleaned, but it is really in need of a deeper cleaning and replacing of some furniture and carpeting, which we wouldn't have expected to happen while we were staying there. With a bit of fixing up, this house would be a total gem. One item of note for future visitors who intend to use the facilities at the Lake Naomi club, they start to close things down by about the 3rd week of August, since much of the staff is college kids who go back to school. This year was particularly difficult on staffing due to Covid and many businesses being short staffed. The club ended up closing pools and the restaurants down due to the lack of staff. This is of course, not a reflection of this house, but something to check into for future renters.

This was our 3rd time renting this house, our first time in the winter. Great light, warm, and we were able to build a fire and watch the snow fall! There was enough room for everyone to spread out, eat, and gave their own space.

Amazing summer kick-off!

Light filled house on lovely small lake with private beach, kayaks, dock, etc… multiple porches / decks and sitting spaces great for sharing meals, watching sunsets, and spending time with friends and family. This was our second extended rental of this house (first was summer 2020).

Amazing property and stay

We just loved this house and the location right on the lake. We sat on the deck at night watching the sunset or down at the lake itself. What a gem-hardly anyone was on the lake it was if we had it almost all to ourselves. Jean Marie was very responsive-we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Home!

Our Family of eight with six kids enjoyed this home very much. The house was very clean and enjoyable. We loved the lake and used the boats almost everyday. We paid for a temporary membership to the Lake Naomi Club and it was worth every penny. We used the pool facilities and the Club Beaches everyday. The weather was beautiful. We brought bikes and rode on the trails with the kids. Owner was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Only Cons: the upstairs did get warm during the day, there is no large garbage can in kitchen and the can opener was broken when we arrived. Other than that vacation was wonderful!

Excellent Vacation

We spent one week at this lovely home. The communication prior to the visit was exemplary and the house was roomy and comfortable. We took a temporary membership at the Naomi Club center and I would suggest that this be done to expand the experience. The pool is outstanding and the various beaches around the lake expand the experience, along with the addition of several dining options. The house has its own private beach with canoe and kayaks and this was a particular advantage for us, since we could spend time in a secluded "oasis" with a wonderful view. It also had a fire pit which we use on several evenings to roast marshmallows. We had our 15 month grandson with us and the accommodations suited our children and him with great convenience. I would recommend the house without reservation!

Beautiful Week!

Our family spent a week at the Gigante house in July, and we had such a wonderful week! The house was very comfortable, just as nice as it was depicted in pictures, and had amazing views from the decks. First impression of the lake and beach/dock area is so neat, you really seem to have your own lake! The very few neighbors we saw all week were not too interested in the lake, so most of the time we were alone and loved it! We used the kayaks, a four person tube we brought and spent the week in the water. We had perfect weather, 78-82 Sunny and the lake was very warm! Our favorite part of the week was chilling around a fire at sunset, amazing! Jean Marie was a responsive, friendly owner and I would be happy to rent this house again!

Great Access to Lake and Beautiful Home

Our combined families - 5 adults (ages 39-68) and 5 children (ages 9-15) - really enjoyed the lake access this house provided. The path to the lake is beautifully landscaped, and it was so relaxing to just sit on the dock or on the sandy beach and watch the kids play. The kids spent hours upon hours playing in the water. It's pretty shallow so they could touch the bottom a long way out, which made it easier to play and gave them plenty of water to roam around in, searching for treasures, fish, wildlife, etc. There's a nice dock and a sandy beach with a fire pit and plenty of wood provided. There are kayaks and canoes which we all enjoyed paddling around in. Fishing was great - the kids and their dads caught several bass and blue gill. On our last day, a small black bear meandered through the backyard! We booked a white water rafting trip on the Lehigh River through Pocono Whitewater. This all-day trip had tons of fun rapids and beautiful views of the gorge. We also hiked up Mt. Tammany, which was a 30 min. drive to the Delaware Water Gap and a 3-4 hr. hike up the hill and back. Amazing views and a nice cool waterfall at the end. If you do this hike, wear sturdy shoes! Kitchen is well stocked and grill worked great, so we made most of our meals at home, but we also ordered carry-out from Amadeo's (5 min. drive) two nights. They have a huge menu, so everyone could find something they liked. Notes to fellow travelers: The house is not air conditioned, but we did not need it. Every room has a ceiling fan, and the weather was very mild, even in the middle of July. The mornings and evenings were nice and cool. Bring your own games/cards/puzzles/movies. Bring your own sheets and towels, and extra tp. Overall, this was a really nice home and we had a great week together. Thanks Jean!

Amazing quiet location on the lake

I don't even know where to start. This place was amazing. The house was beautiful, clean, well equipped and very spacious, 12 of us were perfectly comfortable and never in each others way. The private dock right on the lake was right behind the house and had a fire pit with seating. (though the wooden Adirondack chairs were older and some of the pieces broken) Our children spent a lot of time fishing from the dock and we all spent a lot of time kayaking (5 kayaks/canoes available with house) to and from the beach and floating on our floats on the lake. This area was so quiet we felt like it was our own private lake with private beach and the beach had a lifeguard! We joined the Lake Naomi club so we could access the 3 pools,beaches and gym, which were all beautiful. Camelback mountain, the outlets, shopping and restaurants are all within 1/2 hour from the house. There is even a Lake Naomi bus that takes you around the amenities. We did the CBK mountain adventures on Camelback mountain .....a lot of fun...and also drove up to the top of Camelback, which was breathtaking. A short drive from the house there are short hiking trails to waterfalls. Overall, this was one of the most relaxing, fun and memorable vacations we have ever had. Thank you so much!

Great house. Great location

We had a great week in Pocono Pines. House is very comfortable. Access to our nearly private lake was awesome. The lake has an endless supply of bass and other fish. Kayaks and canoes made the trip fun for everyone. We joined the local Lake Naomi club for the week. We'll worth it.

I am a single professional woman with three grown daughters. I built this home in 2000. I planned every aspect of this home and take immense pride and joy in maintaining it in its pristine condition. Lake Naomi has become a cherished place in my and my daughter's lives, with life long friends and memories. We were, and still are very active in the golf and tennis programs, and enjoy cross country skiing and down hill during the winter months. The girls love to fish, whether it be summer, spring or fall, or ice fishing in the winter months. No matter how active we are..... coming home to this property is what we love most.

Why they chose this property

I was fortunate to purchase the very last available lakefront lot on Deer Trail Beach. I love how private and quiet it is. The only traffic on this side of Lake Naomi comes from the folks that live on this road. The only sound one hears is nature. I loved the slope of the land and designed a home that worked well with the land. It is an upside down style where the living space is on the top floor. I have decks the length of the house that are in the tree tops affording a fabulous view down to the lake. You are at eye level with the birds in the trees. The house stays cool with ceiling fans in each room and the air beautiful and fresh from the surrounding trees.

What makes this property unique

I built a sand beach and dock which is a wonderful place to have cocktails, a picnic lunch, or coffee in the morning. There are 4 kayaks for your use, and a canoe. It is a great fishing lake...your private 'honey hole!'

The house is situated so we have magnificent views of the sunset...and the calmness of the lake reflects the sky and the stars as night falls.
