Visit the Oregon Coast in style with a stay in this classic cottage with easy beach access. Also boasting a sauna in the main bedroom suite, this getaway is sure to please your whole group. You'll love this fantastic location, with the beach, boardwalk, and rolling sand dunes at the end of 7th Street. You're also within walking distance of Gearhart Golf Links and a few miles from more attractions in Seaside.

Classic beach style is evident throughout this home, with colorful rugs and a comfortable aesthetic. After a day of golfing or beachcombing, relax in the living room. There's a cable TV with a DVD/VCR player, as well as a stereo and WiFi. Or, you may prefer to curl up in front of the fire with a family board game or a book from the library.

The full kitchen is light and bright with all the major appliances you'd expect, as well as a coffee grinder, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, and blender. Off the kitchen is the laundry room, which includes a shower and set-tub, in addition to the washer/dryer. A garden hose for rinsing off sandy feet is located outside the kitchen door. The dining table is perfect for fun vacation meals.

The lower main level also has a full bathroom with a claw-foot tub. One room has a half bath. Both rooms are wonderfully decorated with colorful bedding, bedside tables, reading lights, and more of that classic beadboard paneling. The remaining two bedrooms are upstairs, including a spacious main suite with a sitting area and a full bathroom with a shower and a sauna. The upstairs guest room has a window seat where you can read in sunlight. Kid-friendly extras include a Pack 'n Play, baby gates, and a children's bike.

Outside, there's a great deck for cocktails, quiet reading, or socializing. You'll have a gas grill for casual dining and can relax on the deck while watching everyone play. Or you can spend the afternoon exploring Gearhart's quiet residential streets and strolling the uncrowded beach. Your stand-up paddleboards and kayaks will stay secure in the garage before you head to the beach!

The path to the sand begins very near the house at the end of 7th Street. Other walkable attractions include a McMenamins pub, the well-loved Pacific Way Cafe and Bakery, and a neighborhood grocery store. This sleepy coastal town offers peace and quiet and a long, sandy stretch of beach. Spend the afternoon looking for sand dollars washed up on the shore, then return to your charming beach cottage for an evening in front of the fire. A section of Gearhart's beach, accessible from 10th Street, even allows driving on the sand. If you have a hardy vehicle with four-wheel drive, give it a try!

No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
