About this property

Superbly Appointed 2nd floor Apartment in the Heart of the Carre D'Or

This superbly renovated 2nd floor apartment is equipped and furnished to an extremely high standard in a contemporary style with high ceilings. All appliances are new.
The apartment has two bedrooms, the master is a large room with a king size bed, en suite bathroom which has a large walk in shower newly installed in 2022 with a rainhead shower and wc. The second bedroom is a twin, with a built in wardrobe, and en suite bathroom with a large shower and wc. The apartment has air conditioning throughout and all windows are double glazed.
We have installed an open plan kitchen/dining area with a dining table that can seat 6. The kitchen is fully equipped for those who want to cook, and there is a fridge/freezer, induction hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also an iron and ironing board.
There is a balcony to the front of the apartment which has a table and two chairs, perfect for croissant in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening whilst taking in the view of the sea.
The comfortable living area has a TV, DVD player, Bose IPod dock system, Amazon Fire tv stick and Wi-Fi. This part of Nice has 4G, and we are hoping for fibre optic broadband to be installed into the building shortly.
The apartment is perfectly located in the heart of the Carre D'Or, which has most of the designer shopping in a pedestrian zone, plus a huge number of cafes, bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
It is just a few minutes of a walk to the Promenade des Anglais and the beach. The old town and the central railway station are very close and within easy walking distance.
Beach mats are provided but you may wish to bring your own beach towels and inflatables.
This apartment is perfect for a family, and a baby monitor, high chair and travel cot are available, but you would be required to bring bed linen for the cot. An apartment for 4 persons with both bedrooms being en suite is a rare gem, but this makes it absolutely perfect for two couples as well as for a family.

Everything was perfect. We loved our little balcony and there were many amenities in the kitchen. Our rooms were comfortable and it certainly was a bonus to have the two bathrooms and showers. We also loved the location as we walked daily to the beach and enjoyed the nightlife not too far from our air B&B.

Nice Trip

My wife and I traveled with our two youngest children (18 and 20). We enjoyed the apartment and amenities. Plenty of room and beds. Location was central to Old Nice and the train station for our excursions to Antibes, Cannes, Eze and Monaco.

Was a Great Place to explore Nice from. Walkable to the main tourist areas but not right in the middle of them for some more authentic experience. Would definitely stay here again.

We are a Scottish family who have travelled a lot, but always had a love of France and particularly Nice.
So when the opportunity arose to have our own place in the Carre D'Or, and be able to renovate it to a high standard it was ideal. We hope those who stay in our apartment can share in the beautiful experiences that Nice has to offer.

Why they chose this property

Our apartment, in the heart of the Carre D'Or, is in a perfect location, whether for arriving, departing and everything in between. From the airport the nearest tram station to our apartment is Alsace Lorraine and the central railway station is only a few minutes walk. This gives you access to the Cote D'Azur hassle free and cheaply. If coming by car, parking is not too difficult as there are many parking spaces, underground car parks and our apartment has a quiet street behind it where it is often possible to park.
The apartment has been completely renovated and fully equipped and furnished to an extremely high standard in a contemporary style with high ceilings throughout. We have installed new super quiet air conditioning and there is double glazing in all rooms. The balcony is especially nice for morning coffee and croissants, and you are able to see the sea.
The apartment is perfect for a young family, as there is a high chair, baby monitor and travel cot available, and the layout is suitable for different sleeping times. The fact that the apartment has two bathrooms is great too, with a large walk in rainhead shower in the master which has been upgraded in 2022 and a large rainhead shower in the twin bathroom it gives people super facilities. The master bedroom has a king size bed, with the twin having two standard singles that can be pushed together if required.

We have renovated this apartment to a very high standard and everything is new, hopefully giving trouble free living in the most exclusive part of the city of Nice, the Carre D'Or!
