Loved the location of this apartment, it was perfect for us. Parking space really appreciated, although plenty of on-street near-by. We liked that it was stand-alone, so quiet and private. We didn't cook here but did make coffee and tea, and it was nicely equipped for that. Even had a bathtub, which was an unexpected bonus! The only downside at all was the full bed instead of queen, a bit tight for us old folks, but manageable. We will definitely try to stay here again.
Small but cozy place, perfect for our trip. Two of us stayed for five days and were quite comfortable. We came out to hike the national parks and it was so nice to have a centrally located homebase!
The location was ideal as it is close to family that we were visiting. It is close to restaurants and very convenient for a walk around Green Lake. Thank you!
We enjoyed this cozy apartment. It had everything we needed for a five night stay. The owner was very kind and responded quickly. We walked Green Lake three times and enjoyed the nearby shops.

Nice little place
Great location, a really easy hop over to the zoo or Downtown. Very clean, it suited us well for the weekend. I wish there was a dish sponge and dish clothes provided so we could do our dishes. But other then that the place was great, and we will definitely stay there again.

Thanks for your kind review! We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We usually provide a sponge and dish towel. I apologize that the cleaner forgot to leave those!
My wife and I spent two days at Stand-Alone Apartment in the Green Lake area prior to traveling to explore destinations in the Olympic National Park. The apartment was conveniently located to Green Lake and within walking distance to restaurants. We walked the 3-mile loop around Green lake and to have dinner at Duke’s restaurant. In addition to a walkable location, the apartment was clean, well-equipped, and there was excellent communication with Moira, the host. We especially liked having a designated parking spot! We look forward to staying here again on return trips to the Seattle area.
This little flat was perfect for us. It is private. We showed up and put on our music and bothered no one. Location was great. Green lake is a nice spot for down time. If this place is available for our next visit it will be our first choice
This is the second time I have rented here, and this time I for more than a month. The apartment is well put-together, has magnificent light and is very close to Greenlake and many amenities. The owners are quick, responsive, efficient and so,so nice. I intend to stay here again.
Very efficient communication. Nicely decorated place. Pull out queen not as comfortable as hoped. Convenient to get to many fun local places. Thank you!
Perfect! Great location, close to freeway for jetting off to any locations within Seattle or for a day trip outside of town. As a mom with 2 young boys the washer/dryer was a major plus. Clean and comfortable. Close to restaurants and coffee, and major community park which we did take our kids to play at. Already letting friends and family know about a wonderful place to stay if in Seattle.
This second floor apartment is very well decorated and comfortable. The owners live close by and were helpful and easy to communicate with. The little house has lots of windows, well organized kitchen, nice little bathroom, and a great tv. We were in Seattle to visit family, but the Greenlake nest was so pleasant we did not want to go anywhere, except maybe to Duke’s Chowder house around the corner for a nice meal. Thank you to the hosts for creating this home away from home, we would love to stay here again in the future!

The place was lovely and clean and a perfect spot to rest in between family outings! Communication was excellent and we really appreciated the accommodations for our little one! (They had a pack n play set up for us and offered a high chair as well)
We will definitely stay here again when we are back in Seattle!

We have lived in Seattle for over 22 years, most of which have been in the Greenlake neighborhood. I made my way up here from Portland, Oregon and my husband is from New York. We met in Seattle through a mutual friend and have never felt like leaving this gorgeous city. I am a dance studio owner and love teaching hip hop dance. My husband spends his days as an architect. We love to entertain, eat good food, drink red wine, be active around the lake or in the mountains and to share our home.
What makes this property unique
There are few vacation rentals around Seattle that are independent of an apartment building or basement/2nd floor of another home. This newly-updated apartment allows you to come and go as you please without feeling like you are in someones space. Of course, though, you are always welcome to grab a seat if we are down by the BBQ.
