The bach was clean and the location awesome. We are happy with the typical kiwi bach and everything was comfortable. With the bringing your own linen and doing the cleaning, we thought the price was a bit steep. Enjoyed the balcony with the lovely view and the old school decor was cute. The steps really need addressing as I slipped over on them as it was raining when we left and got some good bruises.

Responsive and friendly host. All the amenities we needed for a long weekend. Great location for the beach (Waipu Cove), or visiting Waipu. Kids loved being close to the river and estuary.

Great little spot

Between Waipu village and the Cove itself, a cosy little spot, nothing flash and no reason for it to be, has most of what you need.

Short stay for a wedding

We enjoyed our short stay at the Bach to attend a wedding- it was easy to find, and convenient, with just a short drive to town. A lovely place with plenty of character and backed on to the river- a nice place in a nice area for a break!
