Charming Vineyard home with guest house easily accommodates large families vacationing together, with many spacious bedrooms and open common areas. AC is available in all bedrooms and living areas. The private in-ground heated pool (20x40 ft.) and tennis/pickleball court offer opportunities to engage and connect through outdoor activities. Enjoy games or relax in the hammock in the back yard. Share a meal on the long back deck (56ft) equipped with two Weber grills. Indoor features include gorgeous, exposed wood with abundant sunlight, generous living areas, and spacious bedrooms to relax and refresh. The first floor offers plenty of shared space for meals, games, and movies, with an inviting sunroom as well as a den, living room, dining room and state of the art kitchen in an open floor plan.

Spacious bedrooms, most with multiple beds, provide flexible housing arrangements. The first-floor bedroom (one king bed) adjoins one of two full baths on that floor. The second floor has four bedrooms and two full baths, one en-suite with the master bedroom (king bed). Two second floor bedrooms have two beds in each (queen, twin); the other bedroom has a queen bed. The third floor has a full bath and two spacious bedrooms with 3 beds in each (queen & 2 twins). The attached two-car garage has two bedrooms and a full bath on the second floor, making it the perfect location for a family to have their own space. One bedroom is very spacious with one queen bed and a crib, and the second bedroom has two twin beds.

The guest house to one side of the back yard offers further opportunity for privacy with a comfortable living room, full size kitchen, full bath and laundry, and two bedrooms (queen and twin in each, plus a crib in one) in an open floor plan.

Ideally located halfway between Edgartown center and South Beach, this wooded lot strikes a balance between privacy and convenience. Take the bike path running alongside Katama Rd 1 ½ miles down to glorious South Beach to play in the waves and just relax on the beach. Go 1 ½ miles in the other direction to Edgartown center for plentiful shopping and breathtaking views of the harbor. Or just stay at the property and enjoy the many fun and relaxing opportunities offered. Fantastic vacation home for everyone in the family to enjoy!

Great house for active groups

Perfect home for a large group. We had 6 children and 12 adults and it was like staying at camp. The large yard, swimming pool, and tennis court allowed for nonstop activities for all. The house is very comfortable with lots of space and bedrooms.

This place was amazing! Spacious, comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home.We visited in October, so it was a bit too chilly for the pool, but we brought our pickleball paddles and enjoyed a few family games instead. The beds were on the softer side, which I personally liked — and no one else had any complaints!One of the biggest highlights was the kitchen — hands down the most well-stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen in a rental. It had everything we needed and more. We especially loved the large dining table, which made it easy for all of us to enjoy meals together.The host was also incredibly responsive and helpful, which made our stay even smoother.We would highly recommend staying here and hope to have the chance to return soon!

Private home with more than enough space. Our 7 families fit comfortably. The house has everything and the location is the best on the island - easy walk to both beach and Edgartown. Right on bike bath too. Highly recommend to large groups.

Amazing House with great location!

We had rented this property for short trip with group of friends. The group was quite large considering there were 7 families but the house is so spacious that it still had more beds for additional people to sleep. There were 14 adults and 14 kids in the group and all had a blast as the house has EVERYTHING you need to enjoy your vacation. It is just a short bike ride from the beach and located in quite street. The owner and property manager were very responsive and prompt to answer any queries we had and made our stay amazing. The Edgartown shops, restaurants and grocery are just a couple of miles away. I would definitely recommend this house and we will visit soon as well. GREAT HOUSE in Vineyard!!

Perfect group house!

I have rented quite a few times from VRBO and other sites, with groups large and small, and this house by far is the BEST I have chosen! It is perfectly located on the Vineyard so kids can bike and feel independent, it is close to shops and town, and it was the most well-stocked house I have seen. All the appliances and kitchen equipment were perfect (everyone was obsessed with the perfect ice in the ice maker!); the bathrooms were spotless; there were towels aplenty (always a rental house issue!). Instructions were accurate and easy to read, and the owners were incredibly responsive both before and during our stay. Thanks again for a perfect vacation during a stressful time in this world!

Magnificent Martha’s Vineyard

The home surpasses all of our expectations. Well equipped and met all of our needs. Great kitchen and dining for large group meals. Pool, tennis courts and Corn Hole kept our days busy. Pam was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with - we want to return next year 😊

Great house for big groups!

This house was perfect for our friends’ reunion trip. There were plenty of bedrooms, and even more beds, to accommodate our group. The house is extremely well stocked - every cooking supply you could imagine needing was there. Cutlery, nice knives, all clad pots and pans, lemon zester, multiple coffee makers... you name it. Our group had brought a bunch of supplies, just in case, and didn’t need any of them. The kitchen was new and it was a dream to cook in. In fact, I think that we booked so far in advance that we hadn’t seen the pictures of the new kitchen, so this was a very pleasant surprise. There were tons of lawn games, the pool was great, etc. Wonderful home! Communication with Pam was great and prompt. Location was great, but a little too far to casually/routinely walk to and from Edgartown for most of the group. However, the ride share options were quick to arrive and affordable. Thanks!

Great for large groups although quite dated

This property is great for very large parties as it accommodates lots of people with plentiful bedrooms and full baths. Its location gives it easy access to downtown Edgartown as well as the ferry terminals. The property is in need of updates with a dated interior and aging appliances, but it worked well for our large group.

Simply Amazing!

We have been vacationing on Martha's Vineyard for over 30 years and everyone in our large family agrees that staying at this house made for our best Vineyard vacation ever! The house easily and comfortably accommodated our group of 20- we were even able to eat at the same table together each night! The pool and tennis court were put to good use, and it was great having such a beautiful backyard for playing and lounging. The house was equipped with everything we could possibly need and it was so nice having sheets and towels provided. We could not have been happier!

Love At First Sight

1 Guernsey Lane embraced my family as we celebrated what would have been my husband and my 50th Wedding Anniversary. We had honeymooned in Edgartown at the Harborside Inn and returned there at 5, 15, and 20 years respectively. Martha's Vineyard seemed like the perfect location to have a celebration. The Collins home was so much more than expected. The inviting lawn for all kinds of games; the refreshing pool for delightful play time; and the tempting tennis court to encourage the innate Federer all contributed for an incredible stay. The bedrooms with large closets and the spacious bathrooms were lovely. The spacious dining table brought all of the family together. The incredibly stocked kitchen made food preparation painless. So happy I discovered this gem!

Great place for family vacation!

We loved staying at this home!!! We used it for our extended family to stay for a wedding weekend. There was lots of room for everyone. Loved the giant kitchen table for everyone to gather around as well as the great sun deck and sun room! That great kitchen table was the center of our family times for meals and games! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook and serve meals. It was easy to communicate with the owner before the stay with questions we had about the accommodations.

Family Reunion

Enough space for all. 18 adults and 2 children. The in porch with TV with door to shut off the house was key as well as access to the outside was nice for families with little ones especially in the am when others wanted to sleep in. Downstairs bed room is noisy so good for children but not adults. Garage bedrooms no complaints. Cottage they loved. Third floor was great but no curtains so morning came early. Second floor all good no complaints. We had a fabulous time and would love to return. House well equipped. Beach towels and chairs. Need to travel to a good beach the one 5 minutes away not a real beach. Great running/walking . Ok we had fun hope you do too.

Deceivingly large and accomodating

We hosted a group of 18 couples for a 50th birthday celebration. Plenty of space not only to accommodate all couples in comfort, but also plenty of space to spread out. The house is fully equipped, including any possible kitchen appliance or kitchen tool one might need. The house is designed for large gatherings with plenty of clean and functional bathroom space, and is located best of all right between the center of town and Katama beach. We're very familiar with this area, and would have never known such a property existed if it hadn't been for VRBO. Makes us long to buy a similar property in the future.

Great weekend away!

We had a group of friends going to the MV Craft Brew Fest, and this home was perfect! Plenty of room, the house was wonderfully clean and well-appointed. The homeowner was very responsive to some very minor issues. We had to contend with Tropical Storm Jose, but this cozy home made it bearable! Next year we hope to take advantage of the pool and tennis court! Great home, wonderful mini-vacation!

The house was very spacious and well equipped for our large group.

The short drive from Edgartown makes this a great stay for large families. Just close enough to town to bike around and see Edgartown but far enough to get a quiet evening with just the family. Having three floors of bedrooms, room above the garage, and a fully equipped guest house really allowed our families to pick a room they really liked. Communication with the owner prior to the rental period was quick and easy, Pam answered any questions we had about the property and surrounding area. Thanks again for opening up your home to our family to enjoy our stay on Marthas Vineyard!

Family Reunion

We booked the house for a large group of family to enjoy a partial reunion. Booking and communicating with the Property Manager was easy. She was always responsive and answered our tons of questions. The house was perfect. We had a family member with food allergies, so the guest house was a perfect addition to the property. The main house was huge. It had so many different rooms (almost every room had multiple beds in each), plenty of bathrooms, and an abundance of living space. And having 2 sets of washing machines and dryers was perfect. There were enough towels (both beach and bathroom) available. Plenty of extra blankets and linens. And the kitchens had everything you could possibly need. We had family breakfasts and dinners and there was so much room for all of us. We had an array of ages with us and the pool and tennis courts were a huge hit. There were rackets and tennis balls in the garage ready for use. There were plenty of pool and backyard furniture for all of us. The garage had beach chairs, toys and all sorts of thing you would need. The house was a perfect home for us. Every one did their own thing. We brought or rented bikes. South Beach was a quick bike ride. As was the Katama Air Strip (great little restaurant) and a farm for the kids to see all sorts of animals. The Katama general store was a 2 min drive or 7 min bike ride that had pretty much anything you could want plus coffee, breakfast, and little sandwiches. You could walk (2 miles), bike, 15 min, or take the bus (will stop for you at the street) to go to Edgartown. Great little town. Fun shops, sight seeing and restaurants. Don't forget to get to State Beach (quick car ride or bus ride) and jump off the jaws bridge. We had a great week together. The house made it a perfect place to enjoy each other and still have a place to escape if we needed to. I would recommend renting this home to any one.

Great location between Edgartown and South Beach and was able to easily accommodate 6 families

There were 22 of us and allowed us to all spread out both inside and outside. The pool was a great alternative or break from the beach. The backyard was setup nicely with the deck overlooking the lawn for family games, the pool and tennis court in the back. Very traditional Cape Cod / Martha Vineyard style home and would recommend for big families.

Family Wedding

Our large family visited Martha's Vineyard for an awesome wedding. Four siblings and their adult children (19 of us) shared this house and had plenty of spacious room and found the amenities to be all inclusive. The kitchen was well-equipped and the linens were plentiful. This was not just a house, but was a real "family home" and we all appreciated the casual comfort and relaxing rustic-ness we found here. Being a bit out of town, added to the peacefulness but didn't inhibit our going back and forth. The pool was not open, but several of us did use the tennis court. The separate areas: main house, garage apartment, and guest house also worked well for our group, affording privacy yet intimacy. Both Pam and the new Property Manager were convenient, helpful, and a pleasure to work with! We had great FUN!

Well Maintained Property w/ Lots of Space for Large Group!

We had a group of 19 adults stay at the property for a long weekend of wedding celebrations. The property far exceeded our expectations and offered more space than we could have imagined – we easily could have fit more people and still had plenty of extra space. We picked the property based on its location to our wedding venue but it proved to be very convenient to downtown Edgartown and South Beach. The property itself was in great shape. All the beds were comfortable, there were plenty of extra towels and linens, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed (plenty of pots, pans, etc) to cook for our entire group. If you like tennis, the court was fantastic and there were rackets and plenty of tennis balls available onsite. Our entire group enjoyed the stay so much we’ve considered going back for an annual trip. Also, Pam (who coordinated the rental) was a pleasure to work with and promptly answered all of our groups questions.

Beautiful house for families or large groups! Conveniently located!

We had a group of 14 traveling to town for a wedding. This home gave us the opportunity to all stay together and be close to downtown and the beach. The house is beautiful and a great place for families. We spent our days playing tennis or lounging by the pool! Pam was so easy to communicate and everything went according to plan! We would definitely come back again!

Fantastic family reunion spot

We stayed for a week in August for a 3-generation family reunion. While not right in town or right on the beach, it's a great balance in between -- easy bike to Edgartown or South Beach -- and the "family compound" feel with a nice lawn for games, swimming pool with a deep end, and tennis court with ball machine, plus a separate guest house and the suite over the garage, in addition to the scale of the main house, was really ideal for our group of 21. It could easily have fit more people too. This is a small thing, but I love that there was boatload of towels for the pool, beach, showers, etc. We'd come back again, except that we move our reunions to a different place every time. :( The layout of the house/rooms was better than what I took away from the photos. Everything was clean and well-maintained. I liked that the video collection includes Jaw - filmed on Martha's Vineyard. We watched it the last night as a farewell, after the kids had jumped off Jaws Bridge earlier that day.
