cute, comfortable, small house, perfect for my weekend visit to the area. I didn't cook much, but the kitchen seemed well-stock with dishes and such. Everything was super clean, the bed was comfortable, and the natural lighting very nice. The bathroom was a little more rundown than the rest of the house, but still totally functional and fine. the front porch was cute with a couple of chairs, and becaus the house is set back from the road, it felt sufficiently private. The property was peaceful/quiet, in a cute neighborhood close to the Shook's trail, which is nice for walking/running, and a short drive to downtown. Would definitely stay again!!

Cozy Cottage with Easy Access to Amenities

The property was nicely appointed with everything we needed for a five day stay. It would be small for 3, but it’s perfect for a couple. The neighborhood was quiet, and we had easy access to restaurants downtown and beautiful hiking spots.

Safe and comfortable neighborhood

Cottage was comfortable, though bed was a bit too soft . Bathroom door would not totally shut and possibly because house may have shifted. Black out curtains would have been great since daylight comes at 5. Loved the kitchen and convenience of the washer dryer.

Please improve bedding

Bedroom bed felt like a cot and does not appear to be a queen but a full. The couch was very uncomfortable to sleep on with out some form of a pad to put on which was not supplied. Other than that property was very cute and clean.

Property not up to date. Horrible customer service and support.

After driving through the night 15 hours, we arrived to our stay around 6am on 8/30/24. 7 minutes after getting into the house, the smoke alarm stated “warning! Carbon monoxide poisoning.” As a family with 2 toddlers and I’m pregnant as well, we immediately evacuated the house. Fearful for the worst. This was a life or death issue. I promptly contacted the house owners, they stated that they would send someone immediately. While waiting, we left the location to go get something to eat. We did not hear anything from them for hours. So finally around 2pm and exhausted, we decided to book elsewhere since this major issue was not being handled promptly. We requested a refund from the host due to safety and their home not functioning properly. At 3:02pm (9 hours after our issue with the carbon monoxide), the host finally messaged back stating that the issue was a battery problem. After receiving that message, I called and asked for a refund due to their home not being up to date and their extreme delayed time frame with taking care of the matter. 6 days later, September 5th I had to ask again for an update. To which they replied “No refund is being processed” Due to them refusing to refund our stay, that is why I’m writing this review. It’s mind blowing that they won’t refund us, when we were completely forced to leave the host’s house only because their property was not up to date, and then by the time they finally got back with me we already had relocated elsewhere.
