Nestled in the Smoky Mountains, Misty Morning, formerly Moose Tracks, is the place to come for rest, relaxation, and restoration. This charming cabin offers all the amenities of home without all the stress. It is located in the beautiful gated community of Laurel Valley which borders the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Sit by the beautiful stacked stone fireplace or enjoy your morning coffee on the deck! Bring a book, take a hike, or just relax in God's awesome creation.

It has an open floor plan and everything you need for a peaceful getaway. King sized bed. Large jetted tub and a separate bath w/shower, cozy dining area, complete furnished kitchen with all new appliances. Granite countertops in the kitchen and bath vanity. A large walk in closet with new washer and dryer.

Everything you need for a relaxing stress free vacation.

We love our 4 legged fur babies and we want you to be able to bring them. However, we do have restrictions. Only small dogs under 20 lbs. and no cats are allowed. Dogs must be crated when left unattended. Please contact us before booking for approval.

Very cozy cabin in a beautiful area. My niece and I road trip together and started our trip out with stays in Memphis, Nashville and Frankfurt, Kentucky. We were very happy that we saved Townsend for last, ending our trip on a much more relaxing note. Would definitely recommend the area/cabin to others.

The cabin is adorable, perfect for the two of us. Such a peaceful atmosphere, yet close to everything and everywhere. The bed was very comfortable. I slept so well. So rested. Enjoyed the area so much, we hope to find us an adorable little cabin like this for after I retire next year. Thank you for making everything so comfortable.

We absolutely loved the cabin! It was really clean, very nice amenities across the board, super comfortable furnishings including all seating, bed, kitchen chairs. Everything you need, spacious, lovely, cozy, fireplace was awesome (and firewood was provided). We loved the location -- very easy to get to, beautiful woodsy setting, quiet (on a dead end road). Close to Townsend. I have only good things to say about Misty Morning -- it's our favorite cabin in the Smokies!!

What a nice cabin!

The open floor plan cabin is exactly as described, it was very clean, easy to find in a great neighborhood that was very quiet – with the exception of the cicadas, lol! We enjoyed our stay there very much and hope to come back next year

We are empty nesters who love the outdoors. We have been coming to the Smokies for over 30 years and it has always been our favorite vacation spot.

Why they chose this property

Since discovering Townsend, the Peaceful side of the Smokies, we have fallen in love with the area. As photography enthusiasts, we love looking for wildlife in Cades Cove or hiking to waterfalls. Townsend offers us many unique opportunities for our passion of nature.

Located in the gated community of Laurel Valley, the cabin is close enough to the local attractions while still secluded.

What makes this property unique

Our cabin is conveniently located in Townsend close to the bike/walking trail, the Little River and just a short drive to the entrance of Cades Cove. Whether you want to spend the day looking for wildlife at Cades Cove, exploring the many nature trails or just relaxing in the wilderness Misty Morning Retreat is the perfect location.
