About this property

Two bed light & airy flat in central Zone 1, with excellent views over London.

Hello!

My flat (postcode E1) less than a 15 min walk to Tower Hill tube station (Circle/District line), the Tower of London & the historic St Katharine’s Dock with all its restaurants & the beautiful reconstructed 18th century Dickens Inn.

Shoreditch & the lovely Spitalfields Market are a 20 min walk away. The closest station to the flat is Shadwell (on the Docklands Light Railway, accessed via Bank station), and is about a 6 min walk away.

My flat is a very light & bright spacious two bed, with kitchen, living room (I have replaced the tv in the photo) bathroom and separate wc. (The flat is strictly max. 4 persons due to insurance).

There are excellent views from this traditional 1960's tower block. I have a south facing balcony from which you can see Tower Bridge & the London Eye.

The larger bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed, large wardrobes & large mirror and the smaller one has a new standard double bed, wardrobe & large mirror. The bathroom has a good shower in the bath, heated from a combi boiler - you will never run out of hot water!

In the lounge, apart from the amazing views, you’ll find the wifi and tv, an extending dining-table, 4 chairs and a large L-shaped settee. The kitchen has a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, new washer/dryer, double oven and hob. There is also a new microwave, kettle, 4 slot toaster & a dab radio.

The flat has been newly updated, including real wood floors and new bathroom. (I have detailed instructions on how to access iPlayer/Netflix upon request.)

I leave towels, washing machine powder, tea, coffee, sugar, cooking basics, kitchen paper, toilet paper & shower gel for your use. There is also a fold-up baby cot, should you require it, & a hairdryer.

East London, and it's fascinating history, has become one of the most fashionable areas of the city. The River Thames & many famous old traditional pubs, such as The Prospect of Whitby, are all close by. There is a very good, large Waitrose supermarket, open late, near by.

Great Property & Manager
Thanks to Ian, we had a smooth 1-month stay whilst waiting for our new apartment to be ready. Ian's friend even helped to carry our bags at check-in. The place is great, especially if you need to go to the City of London, Canary Warf, Tower Bridge, and Liverpool Street Station areas. Ian is super fast and helpful with his communication - a big plus during covid times. I hope to stay in touch and maybe rent from time to time when we have family and friends staying over.

Great apartament!!!
We where very well received by a Ian's friend. The apartament is very well situated for a 4/5 day visit in London. Close to Tube Station and DLR. With a 15 minute walk you'll be in Tower Hill. The apartament was very well cleaned and equipped with everything it was announced in the advert. It also has some small but important things for short stays such as coffee, tea, sugar, salt, milk... We strongly recommend Ian's apartament to families visiting London.

Good location, close to transport and a good supermarket. Bright, clean and airy appartement.
Ian was a good host. Easy to communicate with. The apartment was clean with 2 comfortable double beds. Being in the 10th floor meant that it was very bright and airy it also had a great view over London. Initially we were not sure about the block but it proved very quiet and safe.

Super Unterkunft, sehr gute Ausstattung, wirklich nah zur city. Wir fanden alles vor, was wir benötigten. Für londoner Verhältnisse großzügige Ferienwohnung, sehr symphatisch eingerichtet. Dazu gibt es einen tollen Ausblick vom 10ten Stock über weite Teile londons. Sollten wir wieder nach London reisen, werden wir zuerst nach dieser Unterkunft schauen. Vielen Dank an Ian für die sehr freundliche Abwicklung und Unterstützung!
