Pat and Melissa were wonderful hosts! The space was clean and everything we needed was there! The location was great for getting around and checking out local spots. We would definitely stay again!
We had a great stay at this property during Mardi Gras. The property is a spacious, very quiet 1 bedroom. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is great — close to the streetcar, restaurants and grocery stores. We had a rental car and street parking was not a problem. The host was extremely responsive friendly and made the entire process easy. We would definitely stay here again!

Paul and Susie were amazing guests. Very nice folks, who fully grasped all aspects of Carnival. They should win some sort of participation trophy! They were quite busy.
Left our rental in perfect condition, and were a joy to talk to.
Welcome back anytime.
Great guest. Very friendly.
She came to town for a family event. Unfortunately, her husband had to cancel, so she came alone.
All of my interactions with her were very cordial. We live onsite (in our own unit). We didn’t hear a peep from her.
She left the apartment immaculate.
Definitely welcome back, anytime.
We had a wonderful stay at this property. Kitchen is well stocked and bathroom is clean. Convenient location to access downtown by use of streetcars. We were worried about street parking to start, but we had no problems finding a place to park. Owner is super helpful and made certain we had some locals insight for dining choices.

Pat and Melissa’s place is just as described in a perfect location in the city. While not in the hustle and bustle of the Quarter or Central Business District, it offers a retreat from a the fun that NOLA has to offer. The accommodations are clean, and they provide everything you need. Pat provided lots of support and was very responsive. We will certainly return!
Pat and Melissa are terrific hosts. The VRBO was not only clean and comfortable, but just as convenient as described. This was the perfect place for my (now) fiancée and I to become engaged.
Home was very cozy and close to everything you need. Bed was so comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was perfect. Had all the amenities you need. Would definitely book again.
Easy check in, rooms big and airy, great kitchen for hosting family dinner. Everything worked. And we had a great time with City Park so close by.

Pat and Melissa have a lovely apartment in the heart of Mid City, even better than advertised. One of our rentals we’ve found (in New Orleans and elsewhere). Definitely recommend!!

Hi Karuna,
Thank you very much for the kind review. I am sorry that we never got to meet.
But we are thrilled that you liked the unit, and enjoyed New Orleans. Thank you for leaving the apartment so clean. You are welcome back anytime.
Warmly,
Pat and Melissa
We stayed for 10 days and during that time had the historic snow fall. Pat and Melissa live above the apartment and checked in to make sure all was well. We really liked the location as well as the many neighborhood resturants and nearby stores and would definitely consider staying there again.

These guests were absolute gems, and welcome back anytime. Very Friendly, and left the unit in immaculate condition.
Of course, we can't control the weather. But they stayed in high spirits, even though the city closed down for two days. Nearly a foot of snow was beyond anything we have ever encountered here.
We went out the next morning, after the snow had stopped. Brandt had already cleared a path through the snow down our long driveway.
Is there a way to give a guest Six Stars?
The historic flat was very comfortable, efficient, spacious and we loved staying there. The location was also amazing and we walked to great restaurants, shopping and the iconic streetcar. The host was extremely helpful and friendly. We definitely are going back. We were there for a week and enjoyed every minute. We highly recommend it.
What a fabulous property! Accomodations are warm, eclectic and extremely comfortable. Check-in was seamless and the neighborhood is lovely. Easy access to transit and also quite walkable to food and drinks. Look forward to our next trip and will definitely come back to this property. Thanks!!!

I was please to meet you, and it was great to have you stay. Please think of us for your next trip. We would love to welcome you back to New Orleans!
Great Center City location at the rear of a private home on a quiet street. Choose this if you enjoy the rich history of the area more than you value ultra-modern places (it is equipped with all amenities). Owner was very flexible and friendly, plus accommodated our schedule. Comfortable and appealing.
We were very happy with our stay. The apartment was very quaint! It was clean and quiet. Felt secure coming back in the evenings with security motion lights that came on. Pat even reached out while he was on vacation to make sure we were doing okay. The area is so convenient to everything you could possibly need! Highly recommend.
It was a cute venue! The hosts were very kind and helpful. It was steps away from the streetcar which was a source of cheap transportation to and from the French Quartier. We loved the location as it was in a quiet neighborhood. Pat was a wonderful host and we really had a great time even though we had to leave sooner than expected for family reasons. Thank you Pat and Melissa!
Check in process was very easy and a street car was just a block up the way and a 20 minute ride to Burboun street. A good neighborhood to stay in without all the hussle bustle of downtown. Love the older home with the wooden floors and decor. We cooked some and found the kitchen to be stocked with all the pots and pans we needed. The owners supplied us with a listing of places theu would recommend to eat. That was much appreciated. We definitely recommend this place!

Hi Dona,
Thank you so much for your feedback. We were out of town and without Internet access, when you posted.
We didn't have a chance to review you. But we appreciated that you left the space in great shape. You are welcome to come back anytime.
Warm Regards,
Pat and Melissa
My husband and I stayed for five days over Jazz Fest, and we enjoyed staying at Pat's place. The location in Mid City was excellent and right near the street car. The bed was extremely comfortable and there were welcome snacks which helped us before we had a chance to grocery shop. The grocery store was a few blocks away, as were several delicious restaurants.
It was great to return to the apartment after a long, tiring day of music in the sun. I would definitely recommend Pat's place.
We had no sooner arrived in New Orleans, that we heard about a hurricane expected to wreck havoc in just a couple days. We left the next day before the roads were crowded by folks intent on escaping this giant storm. Our stay was fine, just disappointingly brief.

2019 road trip!
Pat & Melissa were AMAZING! They were knowledgeable about the area and were there to offer up any help we needed, yet we had complete privacy. Their place is very nice and clean...we LOVED being able to hop on the streetcar so close. Our car stayed parked all but one of our 4 days. We will definitely stay at your place again if we make it back to New Orleans. Anytime y'all come to Colorado, I'm happy to help with whatever you need. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home & knowledge with us.

We stayed here for a little under a week. The apartment is spacious and clean with a big kitchen with a dishwasher and every appliance we could possibly need, a nice sized shower and a fun retro vibe. It was steps away from Canal St and the streetcar, which we took back and forth during our time at this location. It was fairly quiet, but there was a drug store within a block or two as well as a grocery store, so convenient. The owners were great at communicating and we really appreciated all the nice touches, like some food in case of need (or flooding?!), water bottles in the fridge, nice toilet paper (it’s the little things!), and plenty of towels for the two of us for our stay.
Thanks for having us!

Hi Andrea,
We are so glad you enjoyed your visit. I wish we had the opportunity to interact more. My dad was a Canadian, and we always enjoy visits from our Northern neighbors.
Thank you for the kind words, and for leaving the apartment in such pristine condition.
We hope to host you again sometime.
Warmest Regards,
Pat & Melissa
wonderful location and surprisingly quiet. If you like historic properties, you'll love this charmer. The unit was renovated with TLC and is very well done. It would be great to provide screened, functioning windows (and security door) so when the weather is nice, we can open to the outside and enjoy a cross breeze! I love "black out" curtains, but it's dark and cold in there on a nice day. Those beautiful high ceilings and windows can let in some awesome light, but there were no "tie backs" so let in the sunlight and warmth. I love the gorgeous tile work in the bathroom, the blue ceiling, the rain shower or hand-held option, with awesome water pressure. Faucet in the sink is hard to operate. Would love more than one hook in the bathroom.Gorgeous mantle and chandelier in bedroom, sideboard in the kitchen, tons of space and shelves.
This is a great property. We really enjoyed both the location and the apartment.
This is in a great area of the city. I've lived in New Orleans before but had not spent much time in mid city. I have to say it is now one of my favorite neighborhoods. It has a nice, safe but cool and interesting kind of vibe. Plus we loved being so close to all the restaurants, groceries and city park. And the new Lafitte Greenway is just a few blocks away.
The apartment was fantastic. It was spotless with lots of fresh towels. It is decorated beautifully with lots of nice old New Orleans architecture but still modern and comfortable. My boyfriend and I both worked remotely during our 2 week stay and didn't have a single problem with the internet. Our trip was in July and the ac units kept up nicely as well. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the option to make some of our meals at home.
Pat was a great host with a lot of good recommendations for places to eat and explore while in town.
I highly recommend this rental and I definitely look forward to staying here again on future visits.

We love New Orleans and are excited to share it with visitors. Melissa is from here and Pat came in the late 1970s. We know our city very well.

The Canal Streetcar stop is only 150 feet away. This is one of the safest neighborhoods in the city.
It is easy to hop the streetcar to the French Quarter, or to within a half mile of Jazz Fest. We are less than a mile from City Park. We are easily accessible to I-10 and I-610.
What makes this property unique
Lots of Space to spread out. There is a new queen bed in the bedroom, along with a Smart TV and a DVD player.
This rental features a fully equipped kitchen, that is 24 feet long. There is another new futon sofa here, with a 10 inch mattress. The full bath is off the kitchen. Guests in the front room have to pass through the corner of the kitchen to access the bath.
The kitchen also features Stainless steel appliances and lots of prep space. With two supermarkets only two blocks away, you can save a few dollars by making breakfast and lunch at 'home'. Lots of privacy and very secure.
