This fantastic open plan apartment is the ideal holiday villa for a couple who want to have luxury, privacy, and self-catering but with your own private infinity pool. The guest villa is located in a private gated estate just outside Istron, and the property is perched at the top of the estate, with total privacy and a bird's eye view of the whole of Mirabello bay across to Agios Nikolaous. In fact you wake in the morning and can see the view from the bed!

The setting is so romantic and spectacular, most people don't want to go anywhere else! However, there is plenty to see and do if you do wish to venture out. There is a main villa which sleeps 5, but this will not be occupied when the guest apartment is rented out. There is parking for one car.

Spectacular

This really was a most magical stay. The location and setting of the property are breathtakingly beautiful. The apartment has everything you need and was spotlessly clean. The view from the apartment stretches directly across the infinity pool seamlessly blending with the sea below. That is quite something to wake up to! The outside terrace is huge and totally private. The pool is a perfect size and at this time of year we opted to have it heated - which was well worth it. Check in and out were easy as the owner, Stavia provides a very comprehensive info document and responded to any queries (eg directions to places) quickly. The weather was utterly glorious apart from one day of blustery winds. We cannot recommend the property highly enough - and we can’t wait to be back.

Fabulous Location

All the reviews are true. We came here looking for a relaxing stay with fabulous views and outside space. Nothing about this property is less than perfect. What a beautiful location and a beautiful break. Thank you for sharing this amazing place.

Early May Experience

The location, the view, the tranquility and the outdoor terrace comfort are nothing less than fantastic and amazing. The internal accommodation is small even for a couple! If it’s warm and sunny then it’s absolutely ok. But the weather in our first week starting 30 April was cold and windy especially in the evenings so we couldn’t sit or eat or swim outside and the studio apartment is not geared up for this!! However when the weather improved after 6 days we experienced the magnificence of the place. The owner responded immediately to our early issues and we must praise the cleaner and all round helper Michelle. Her attention to detail and cleaning care was absolutely fabulous! Bed linen and towels etc were changed twice each week. The local village has some excellent restaurants and a nice beach but once the weather changed we had no desire to leave the terrace and the heated pool. So, all things considered, we give it 5 stars and may we’ll return but not in late Spring next time!

I am half Greek and half English, and know Crete well. We chose this part of Crete because of its fantastic landscapes, sea scapes and the unspoilt surroundings. The quality of the workmanship in our property is superb.

Why they chose this property

It is a luxury open plan apartment perfect for a romantic break for two people. The open plan apartment is located on its own plot (shared with the owner's house, which will never be occupied when the apartment is let) and is therefore totally private. It has its own beautiful infinity pool, massive terraces over looking the specatcular Mirabello bay. The villa is in a gated private setting within walking distance of beaches, and a few minutes drive from shops and tavernas. There is parking on site.
