The property is completely private and perfectly situated in a very safe area in eastern Crete directly on shore/beach (round pebbles with crystal clear water) in the Gulf of Mirambello, exactly opposite of the marvellous antique Venetian fortress of Spinalonga in short walking distance of the village Plaka.

Unique Location directly on the sea, in walking distance of the wonderful pitoresque fishing village of Plaka with many famous fish tavernas, very individual interior design with tropical wood floor, colonial indian furniture pieces etc.

The village of Plaka with his unique Cafes and Fish taverns is a short stroll (150 meters) on the road behind the beach away from the property. A bus-stop is close. The small main village of Elounda is by bus less than 10 min away, the slightly larger pitoresque town of Agios Nicolaos with its unique lake and shopping streets about 25 min. In this realm touching the sea and a beach with crystal clear warm water you will find the place to feel home and fill your soul with sunshine and the spirits of antiquity. The hillside Villa is located directly on the sea above an unpaved road that follows for miles the coastline though uninhabited Cretan nature offering splendid views over sea and mountains. PLEASE NOTE: As it is a Villa for 2 to 10 guests the total price and the number of accessible bedrooms depends on the number of booked guests. The base rate includes up to 6 persons and the use of the complete main floor of the villa with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large living room, all verandas, pools and the complete outside premises. The groundfloor is never rented separately so you will alway be alone on the premises. If you book for 7 to 8 persons you will additionally have the use of the groundfloor two room apartment, if you book for 9 to 10 persons you will additionally have the use of the groundfloor two room apartment a the groundfloor one room apartment, both with separate accesses. You can book any time additional guests as an extra. If for some reasons you need more than the booked number of bedrooms please let us know.

80 m away and 15m below the villa. Round white/grey pebble, in the sea sand. Cristal clear water with in summer almost tropical temperatures (up to 28 degrees Celsius). Watersport with sea canoes, pedalos, jetski and trip to the island of Spinalonga on the beach. Coctail bar and fish restaurants directly on the beach. Further seaside restaraunts a few feet down.

Your host is a british lady who has lived on Crete almost all her life. She is fluent in Greek (and obviously English) and lives about 15 minutes away. She will meet you at your arrival, hand you over the keys and explain you everything. She can also organise for you airport transfer or economic and safe rental cars. She usually comes by about once a week but will be available at daytime if you give her a call.

The village of Plaka with its waterfront cafes and widely known fresh fish restaurants is within comfortable walking distance (150 meters). There is also a small village harbour where boat trips can be arranged for sightseeing, fishing and regular trips over to the Venetian fortress island of Spinalonga. The luxury country villa is located in eastern Crete close to the traditional, unspoilt fishing village of Plaka, Elounda. A bus stop to Agios Nikolaos is about 100m away from the villa. Our host can also organize for you an economic rental car as well as transfer from Heraklion airport. (about 45 min per car).

The accommodation is provided for the sole use of the Clients named on the booking form. Subletting or assignment of the property is not permitted. Insurance - The Client is strongly advised to take out comprehensive travel and medical insurance for all members of the party. Rental Period The rental period commences at 1400hrs on the first day and ends at 1000hrs on the last day.
Health & Safety: We cannot accept any responsibility for your health & safety while staying at the property. We will provide guidelines at the property to assist you in minimizing any risks to your safety. Security: Crete is still a very safe location and does not have a high incidence of crime. Actually Greece has one of the lowest crime rates in all Europe. We cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to property or persons during the course of your booking. Damage caused to the property and/or its contents The Client must accept full responsibility for damage and breakages to the property and goods. All such damages and breakages will be charged for at replacement value and must be paid for prior to departure.
