This 4 bedroom/3 bath home is family friendly. We equipped it with everything we would want in our own home, only better! The center of our villa is an open-plan kitchen with breakfast bar seating 4, and kitchen table seating another 4. Adjacent is the formal dining room seating 6 people. Large L-shaped leather sofa with recliners with flat screen TV for watching the next game! Remote controlled LED accent lighting allows you to add your own flair to your living space. The master bedroom has a lovely en-suite bathroom. The queen bedroom has it's own bath that also may be accessed from the pool. The twin bedrooms are Disney themed. One is Mickey and Minnie, the other is Pirates. The heated (extra charge) pool and hot tub are south-facing, so you get a good amount of sun. The games room has a top notch pool table and table football for all ages to enjoy during the holiday. The spa has a separate control so it gets hot really quick. BBQ is available at an additional fee Some Disney fireworks are viewed from the front yard.

Amazing villa

Great Villa

The villa is perfect for a large family. Really clean and well equipped. Pool area was great, and cleaned each week. We had a small problem with the AC and called the property management team and was fixed within a couple of hours. Cannot fault anything. Really good location, easy access to I4 with a Publix just around the corner. A good few fast food restaurants nearby with larger restaurants about a 10-15 min drive on the 192.

A nice property let down by maintenance

We have just returned from our stay here and I’m slightly disappointed, the house itself is nice you can see that the owners have made every effort to bring it up to a decent standard however the cleanliness and maintenance was well below par. When we used utensils and cups in the kitchen the weren’t clean as well the cups were clamped together with mould as well the oven only worked on two rings which made life hard cooking for five people. We had no WIFI initially for four days however after three attempts this was eventually solved. My main concern was the pool and hot tub, we were woken up every morning by a horrendous noise coming from the back of the pump at 6:30 every morning that unfortunately backed on to the main bedroom this was broken leaving us with no pool heating or hot tub until three days before we left our three week holiday, as this was a main selling point for our family naturally left us somewhat annoyed after five previous attempts to fix it. This property is located perfectly with every amenity nearby in the hands of the right management and a bit of tlc it would be ideal

Spacious comfortable Villa

Enjoyed our stay in this villa, beds very comfortable and villa well equipped with all necessary essentials. Pool at first glance looked a little dirty on our arrival, but it seemed to be the surface of the pool and the internal tilling that was in need of being repainted or re surfaced. But overall we would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Great house, great holiday

We loved staying here, there was lots of space and the pool was brilliant. Enjoyed the quiet location after going to the theme parks in the day, it was so convenient to have a laundry room, games room and the outside area to relax. The property manager was excellent when we asked about a bottle opener (!) and dropped one off within the day, great communication and service, it really made our holiday so much better. Thank you!!

The directions supplied are incorrect and send you left when it should read right, and says the estate is West Ridge when it is in fact West Haven. Luckily we knew where we were going and arrived and accessed entry with no problems. The villa is in a nice quiet tree lined street. Generally we were very happy with the villa although the inside of the kitchen cupboards could do with a clean but realise that cleaning companies have limited time between guests. The pool was a nice warm and relaxing environment at the end of the day for aching bodies. We really enjoyed our wallowing, floating on noodles. The location of the villa gives easy access to I4 local shops and eateries. Internet worked really well and the large screen TV was impressive. Thanks for our stay.

Very good property, great space, would stay again

The property itself is a good size (there was 7 of us), with a lovely swimming pool/jacuzzi, (I would say that we went in winter and although the air temperature was great the pool, even with the heat on and covers on was too cold for us lightweight adults, however this didn’t stop the kids from being in it most days, they loved it), we all feel there was plenty of room for us all. Great games room with a pool table (spent lots of time perfecting my pool skills, unfortunately I need a lot more time for that), it also has a fussball table. The washing machine/tumble drier came in very handy, as the airline lost our bags for 3 days so we had to wash and wear the clothes we arrived in daily. All bedrooms have TV’s/entertainment, the living room also has DVD player, games consule, and the wifi worked perfectly (which with 3 kids in the house was a god send). Outside there is room to park 2 cars on the drive. The property itself is ideally located to local shops ( a short few minutes drive), which has a Publix supermarket, and McDonalds, (other burger joints and supermarkets and Denny’s are available). The Disney theme parks are also a short drive away (depending how fast the I4 is moving, most days are busy during peak holiday times), but they can be reached on a good day in around 20 minutes or so, the Universal and Seaworld parks you should allow around 40 minutes to get too. All in all the property was very comfortable with everything you need for a great stay, would definitely recommend it as a base for your Orlando/Florida holiday. And finally communication with the owners was very good, they answered all my questions promptly, no question was a problem. Many thanks The Andreou’s and The Hannans.

Loved it all

Just left after 17 nights here with my 6 person family (12,8,4,4). House big and rooms are very spacious. Kitchen and bathrooms perfectly well equipped. Cleanliness was superb throughout. Its about 20 mins away from Disney Parks and 25 mins from Universal - but depending on times i4 can get busy and add a few minutes on top. We found the whole location perfectly ideal, meaning we could get away from the slog of the Parks, but still close enough for the kids not to get bored getting there. The housing estate/resort where the home is felt very safe and secure (all gated). Plenty of shops/restaurants within 5/10 mins. Pool was really good, very warm in mid August - We were in it every day. Lots of little extras not detailed in description and photos, which made the stay very comfortable. We certainly enjoyed staying at the home as much as going to the Parks, the kids were never bored of things to do. We wouldn't hesitate to re-book if we came back to Orlando.

Really good property spacious and clean.

The Villa was lovely it was spacious and clean and had lots of facilities. We didn’t opt for pool heat and we didn’t need it it was so warm with the hot weather. It was great to come back and b able to cool down. The down side was the mad traffic on the I4 and a slight ant issue which you would get due to humidity/heat. It was exit 58 for the property and most late afternoon/ early evening the exit it prior to that one was horrendous often waiting for an hour for a 15/20 min journey. When you are already tired from a days outing. That was only downside.

Clean, large house, south facing (caged) pool, air-con, Wi-Fi, TV, quiet area. Once in we enjoyed it

All the directions to the property from the I-4, the gated entry code & the the door entry code we were given were totally wrong. From Champions Gate [which is about 2 miles from the property, it took us 3 hours to find & gain entry to the property due to the incorrect information we were provided with]. The directions provided were:- "On the I-4 east take Exit 58, merge left onto Champions gate. Continue straight all the way to the end of the road. at the end of the road take a left onto CR 54 ( Ronald Reagan) Drive for a further 1/2-mile & take a left into WEST RIDGE …turn right up the hill & THE HAMLETS is on the left, drive to gate press #2005. Take first left , then a right property is the second house on your right. There is a key safe on the outside of the villa. Put in the code and press down the catch on the top of the safe and lift the front of the safe down and towards you. The key to the home is inside.." The directions should have read:- "Heading along the I-4 east take Exit 58, merge RIGHT onto Champions Gate Blvd. Continue to the end of Champions Gate Blvd when you will reach a T junction. At the T Junction turn RIGHT onto Polk 54 (Ronald Reagan Pkwy). Drive for a further 1.2 miles & turn left into WEST HAVEN (May Fair Blvd), then at the roundabout turn right into Buckingham Drive, then turn left into THE HAMLETS, at the gate enter code #6765. Turn left onto Henley Circle and then turn right into Chaucer Ave, the house is the 2nd on your LEFT. There is a key safe on the outside of the villa. Enter the code and press down the catch etc....." Upon arriving at the gated compound of The Hamlets [after 3 hours of looking for it from Champions Gate] we finally gained entry by way of some friendly neighbours who let us in using their gate code. After failing to gain entry to the house due to the incorrect door key box code that we were provided with, we were taken in by neighbours opposite and used their facilities until we could contact HomeAway and finally the owners. As far as the house was concerned it was clean, carpets were new, rooms were adequate, air con worked OK, BBQ was fantastic, pool very good, but no change of bed linen, safe not fixed to floor, shortage of mugs & cereal bowls, no cooking dishes, front bay window would not lock. If we'd arrived in the US at our original flight time [6hrs later] we'd have spent the first night in a hotel ! Don't understand why WE were only given a 4 star rating for communication!

Great House, Good Location

The house is exactly as advertised, has good sized rooms and is in a quiet neighbourhood of similar properties. Its a great place to stay, very clean with comfortable beds and convenient for the theme parks and the Gulf Coast. However, we did have the same experience other people have mentioned in that the code we were given for the key safe was wrong. After travelling for 12 hours plus and arriving at the property at 2000, we were unable to enter. We called the owners but got voicemail so then called the number provided for the local management company only to be told that they did not manage that particular property. Fortunately they knew the company that did, and provided us with another phone number which we then rang. We got through to Lisa who provided us with the correct key box code. So after $20 of calls (using UK mobiles) and an hour after arriving at the property, we managed to get inside. Also, as previously mentioned, the details of the property should make it clear that the heating for the pool is an extra charge and not included in the price.

Great vacation rental to escape the cold in Ohio

This was a great property if you want to be in the Disney area. The kitchen had the best pots, pans, etc of all the rentals we have stayed at over the years. It was clean and spacious. The outdoor area was very enjoyable and had enough room when friends and family stopped by. We would stay here again.

Nice place

Nice house in a gated community. Clean, nice pool and hot tub. Some of the rules like no shoes in the house are a little strict. The owner needs to purchase a factory TV remote for the JVC living room TV because you cannot use the inputs to watch a movie play their PlayStation or game system you bring yourself with the universal spectrum remote provided. Also the distance it’s much longer to Disney than described. With the traffic we incurred on a daily basis it’s about 45 minutes and it’s about a hour to international drive. Besides those things, it’s a great property.

Everything was great!

The first night the a/c was not working however the owners were going to get someone out on the Sunday! The house was nice and clean and the owners were very responsive! Highly recommend this property!

Family Christmas Vacation

Thoroughly enjoyed our 15 night stay at the rental residence. Comfortable and spacious. Owner responded to an issue with the pool which was quickly resolved. Location access was convenient to Disney World.

From the time we stepped foot in the house till the day we left there was non stop problems. I thought the house was clean but on closer inspection saw that it was not from the bugs and dirt on the carpet to the dirty dishes in the cabinet that were put back dirty, to the filth behind the master bathroom toilet. The swans you see in the pictures, were nowhere to be found , which was just a symbol of the housekeepers doing their job, so i guess that means they didn't .I was afraid to sleep under the sheets because it seemed the sheets were not even changed. There were no washcloths in the whole house and we had to wait 3 days to get a decent amount. After looking at some of the past reviews some had the same experiences. The house is badly in need of maintenance since just a few of the listed issues was what we had to deal with. No light fixture in one of the bathrooms with wires hanging out, The shower door would not close, my husband had to fix the sink drain , replace the a.c filter which was rattling and needed to be replaced months ago. There were lights flickering in the house in 4 different places, the master bathroom door wouldn't close or lock. The list goes on with the maintenance and cleanliness issues. The property manager only fixed some of the problems and didn't properly change the sheets, I was done asking for help after that. I could go on and on, take what you want from my experience. If we could have got a refund and found a place we would have been gone.

Amazing Stay ! Highly recommended

Honestly I have nothing but great things to say about our stay. The house was perfect, very clean! It’s very accommodated to all of anyone’s everyday needs. Location was amazing, beautiful private gated community, 30min drive to the airport, 20mins to the parks . Property manager was super professional. An incident came up and she took care of it within 30 mins . I highly recommend this place! Trust me you won’t be disappointed

Great house and location

This was a great house but the first night we was without air(89 degrees inside). The management company sent someone out quickly and they provided fans for the night. The next morning a tech was there to fix it. There was a few items, like master shower door doesn't close, whoever cleans need to check between the sections of the sectional because it was dirty. We found a shirt and a pair of socks between the sections of the couch. All in all it was a great house, neighborhood was extremely quiet and it was the 4th of July week. You can watch fireworks from the front yard, that was amazing.

John and I live in Connecticut on a small lake surrounded by a nature preserve. We ran a daycare center for 20 years, which kept us children at heart. John is retired and I work at Babies R Us, just seeing expectant moms and babies each day makes this retail job fun.
Our sons live nearby (next door and the basement). Disney is our go-to vacation, at least 2 times a year.

Why they chose this property

This home has a south-facing pool which was our first requirement in house hunting. The gated community was a plus. This home was renovated early this year. Our sons went down in January and what we thought would be a simple paint job turned into an amazing home. We gave them free reign. It is a home that is warm and friendly.

What makes this property unique

Family friendly. The accent lighting in the living room is unique, you can change the up-lighting as you like.There is a fence around the pool area for child safety. All new beds, linens, and a fully equipped kitchen.
There is also a pack and play, high chair, stroller and bed guard rail for our youngest guests.
