Our 'Charming Country Cottage!' Sleeps up to 4 guests in 2 bedrooms.

This beautiful 2 bedroomed country retreat with log burner, is one of three luxury self-catering cottages at Stoneleigh Knowle Cottages . Offering guests the very best of coast and country. Situated just to the south of the lovely North Cornwall town of Bude and easily accessible from the A39 Atlantic Highway. Only 2 miles from sandy Widemouth Bay beach. Dog Friendly with woodland walks and 75 acres to explore.

As you venture up the mile-long drive you will realise what a magical place you have discovered. Nestled in the privacy of Stoneleigh Knowle, the spacious courtyard of cottages surrounded by gardens, meadows and woodland extends a warm welcome all year round. Vaulted ceilings, roof beams and arrow slit windows give a hint of the buildings’ previous working past at the heart of this Cornish Estate.
Outside, space is in abundance with 75 acres to explore including private woodland walks, ancient lanes and meadows that are teaming with wildlife. The near ‘Dark Sky’ offers a superb opportunity for star gazing.
Inside, the cottage is furnished with style; beds, sofas and soft furnishings proffer comfort, the well equipped farmhouse style kitchen and modern bathroom with roll-top bath round off the luxury.

So peaceful

We had a wonderful time at the Granary. So comfortable and everything we needed. A bit off the beaten track but oh so peaceful. A beautiful part of the country to stay and lots of lovely beaches. Will definitely go back in the future.

Lovely cottage stay

Had a fantastic stay here over the bank holiday weekend. Arrived to a beautiful cottage in a peaceful location and a starter pack including a bottle of prosecco which was a lovely touch. Very clean and beautifully decorated throughout. Rebecca checked we had everything we needed during our stay which was really appreciated. Lovely walks at the cottage and a short drive to local beaches for surfing or walks. Would definitely stay again, thank you!

The Granary Stoneleigh Estate

The cottage was very clean and very cosy. The beds were very comfortable and the quietness of the location was very calming. We had a really enjoyable time and would have no hesitation in booking it again for future holidays. We had a problem with the hot tap in the kitchen and Rebecca , the owner, immediately visited us and it was fixed immediately and then completely replaced a day later. It is a great location for surfing at Widemouth Bay.

A wonderful retreat for the family plus dog!

We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful stay in the cottage at Stoneleigh Knowle. Our party consisted of myself together with my son and his partner and our much loved greyhound. We all felt at home as soon as we arrived. The cottage was warm, cosy and welcoming and perfectly clean. We enjoyed visiting Bude, Clovelly and Padstow for day trips and relished the opportunity to walk the many local beaches and countryside close to the cottage. I would most strongly recommend a visit to this cottage. We had a super time and although we were sad to leave, we would certainly revisit time and time again!

Stone house Well equiped , Comfy warm , welcoming , cottage in a good location, booking process good

From booking advice& help from Rebecca, this cottage was great for our family break , with a 3 year old & a 7week old baby every thing was taken care of travel cot, beds made up to suit our party size. The cottage was well equiped & very welcoming, with a wonderful thoughtful warm cottage upon arrival, & the extra lovely bottle of fizz to enjoy after we had settled in was a wonderful touch. The cottage was for us nicely seclude but with only a short drive to the beachs of Widemouth bay , with good cafe at black rock, & a drive into Bude also great beach, & cafes to enjoy. Enjoyed the sea pool let's hope it remains for many others to enjoy. Would highly recommend to friends & family & hope to return very soon. The Scott family½ ie the dalmation .

Beautiful location

We had a lovely stay, accompanied by our two teenagers and the family dog. The setting is so tranquil; just being outside with only the sounds of the countryside was bliss. The cottage is within easy drive of so many beautiful Cornish locations. Waitrose deliver to the cottage, relieving the need to traipse to a supermarket after a long drive down. The property is nicely furnished, with a roomy, comfortable feel. The kids did complain about the limited wifi but they did accept that actually communicating with their parents was a reasonable alternative :)
