This garden cottage was a welcoming, peaceful place to stay. The garden yard is definitely the best part, and house was set up nicely. Why ever stay in a hotel again when places like this exist!
The location of the rental is close to everything. It is well stocked and in a quiet neighborhood. The owners are very accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay.
Fantastic lication and super clean. Had a workshop on the campus of Colorado College all week. Easy walk to campus! Home is clean and cozy. We had plenty of room for the two of us. Great kitchen with everything I needed for meals. Easy interactions with owners via site. Thank you!
The location of this rental was just perfect. Short drive to Garden of the Gods. Neighbors were extremely helpful and welcoming. The home was so quaint and relaxing I could have stayed longer. The host was exceptional, had a small glitch which was not major but they immediately came and made the save. Having the deck with a view of a snow capped mountain was just a perfect backdrop.

Cozy Cottage with a lovely garden to enjoy.
The cottage and the locate were just right for our group. The cottage was equipped with most everything we needed. The only drawback was the lack of air conditioning and fans in the rooms. The weather was quite hot and our last 2 evenings the cottage was hot. The owners brought back a fan but it was insufficient for the heat of the bedrooms. Otherwise, the cottage was lovely and the access to the backyard was a bonus.

Whew, Nancy was correct about those two hot nights! Unfortunately we were not expecting that heat wave and had not yet installed the AC unit. We have pushed back our installation date from June 20th to June 1st for all future guests and it will remain in operation until late September each year. CO can be tricky that way. Thank you for helping us get better!
We had a great stay at this cottage. It was clean and well-stocked. We appreciated having bed linens and towels. Joanna wisely considered that my two teens would not want to share a bed, and had the pull-out couch made up for us when we arrived (thank you!!) We loved that coffee and creamer was available, since that is the first thing I want in the morning. There is a grocery store a mile down the road. The neighborhood seemed nice, and location was great to visit Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, and other attractions. Joanna communicated with us in preparation for our arrival, and although we had no issues in which we needed to get in touch with her during our stay, I sensed that she’d be easy to reach if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in Colorado Springs!
This place was perfect for our family of 4. Very great location for getting up to Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, or Woodland Park, or north of town to good food and shopping.
Hosts were super responsive and helpful.
We would stay here again!
Excellent. Best equipped rental we have had and we have had plenty.
The property is beautiful. Everything needed was in the unit with high quality items. The owner very attentive. Highly recommend to anybody vacationing in Colorado Springs
This was a great place for our family of four. It is located near most of our places of interest (Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo). There were several games on the shelf that my kids enjoyed! No washer and dryer, but there was a great laundromat about 5 minutes down the road.
Perfect home base for all Colorado Springs has to offer!
Joanna was such a gracious and kind host and always so responsive! The cottage had everything we needed including body wash and shampoo. Kitchen was well stocked too! We brought bikes and the location made it so easy to bike downtown and to the the nearby bike path by the water as well as downtown restaurants. I am a YMCA member and it was just a 10 minute bike ride to the downtown YMCA so I could use my national membership. It was 20 minutes or less to Garden of the Gods, entrance to Pike’s Peak, and the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. We want to come back and hope the cottage is available so we can stay again!
My husband, my 15 month old daughter and I just returned from a week stay in the garden cottage and everything was perfect! The cottage was very clean, and full of amenities! Joanna was quick to respond to my messages, and even dropped off coffee filters when I discovered there were not any in the cottage.
The location was perfect, just a short drive to all the attractions in the area. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!
Highly recommend this cottage for our recent family vacation. We had 5 in our party - 4 adults and a teenager and it was roomy and comfortable. The location was close to everything with its central location. The accommodations were clean and everything was thought of. The property manager was very responsive and great to rent from. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the great memories.
Dad and I rent a house for the first weekend of the NCAA tournament every year, plant our butts on a couch and don't really move too much for 3 days and this was great for us. 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds, updated bathroom, completely stocked kitchen. Quiet unit on the back of a house with a private garden. Comfortable couches, decent tv, good WiFi. Not exactly walking distance to bars/breweries/restaurants, but a short drive and with better weather could have used scooters, we saw a lot of those laying around to rent.
A perfect family room/open kitchen space for making meals and hanging out. View through one window of snowy pikes Peak. The hosts even put up a little tree and lights for Christmas. Our toddler loved the plastic blocks. Very clean and loved how it’s decorated. Will definitely stay here again.
Lovely yard with garden. Very clean and well thought out interior. Everything you need for cooking in or outside. Peaceful, quiet...yet close to everything. A wonderful view of Pikes Peak. Would stay here again for sure. We loved it so much we bought a house. Joshua and Joanna are the best!!!
Garden Cottage is in the rear portion of a house in a desirable urban neighborhood in Colorado Springs. We enjoyed the interesting garden yard and the comfortable home. We had two small dogs who appreciated walks to nearby parks and Pickleball courts were close . The deck and grill was great for family entertaining . Our hosts were responsive and helpful. We spent an enjoyable month at this Garden Cottage.
Such a cute, cozy place to stay! Location was great and was close to downtown, Red Rock Canyon, Helen Hunt Falls, Seven Bridges hiking trail, Manitou Springs Cliff Dwellings, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak and so much more! Would definitely stay here again, thank you Joanna and Joshua!
Its a great place to stay. You have all what you need. The House its big for 2 Person. I can only say, when you want stey in Colorado Springs get this House.

My family and I had an amazing stay at the Garden Cottage Inn!! The pictures are real to life for the house as well as the garden. We enjoyed being close enough to downtown to go out to eat and also having a grill and backyard garden for entertaining. The fire pit was the highlight for my family as well as the garden lights. My favorite view was looking out the living room window to see Pikes Peak!
The Garden Cottage was perfect for our family of four. We took advantage of the games, books, and garden. Such a relaxing, quiet get away. The cottage is at the back of the house, but we were not bothered by anyone and we felt like we had ample privacy. The cottage is super-cute and eclectic. The kitchen was fully stocked and were plenty of extra blankets, pillows, and other comfort items.
Highly recommend!

Anniversary Get away
We were so lucky to have chosen this Garden Cottage over the 10 places we had pinned for this trip. Better than the 5 star pictures. Better than we could hope for as far as the charm. The location was amazing for our to do list. Every detail was spot on. Then to pull it all into amazing was the hospitality of the owners. Yes we will return!

When we entered the property our hearts sunk. The yard was over grown and not maintained.
After a 900 mile trip, we had hoped for a nice relaxing stay. We walked through the gates onto the property to find broken outdoor furniture, overgrown weeds and grass. Property had a very strong smell of cat urine as well. We had to clean cob webs from windows on deck and I even washed a few outside windows. Fire pit was not usable due to amount of poison ivy.The inside of the cottage was not bad, actually nice. Very sad that the owners didn’t take more time to prepare for our visit. Dishwasher still had dirty dishes from previous renters, refrigerator had spilled juice in it and we had to replace batteries in thermostats as well. The parking in the alley was terrible, junk everywhere and a tiny house that’s under construction, on the property. Extremely disappointed as this was not disclosed at the time of the rental. Looks to us like they are trying to make mad money and do as little as possible. Don’t advertise as a garden cottage, that is not a garden, it’s a jungle.

(1) The "broken furniture" are some lawn chairs that had been hit by a hail storm but are still functional. (2)The guests stay was in September when our gardens are past their prime for the year. The grass and weeds get trimmed every week or two, and the guest may have arrived on a day when it was between trims. (3)There are no cats on our property, so I don't know why the guest thought there was a cat urine smell. We do allow dogs this unit/yard, but our guests generally clean up very well. (4)The fire pit is used regularly by guests and there is NO POISON IVY on our property anywhere. There is a creeping vine that grows all over but it is purely decorative and benign. (5)Regarding the windows and cobwebs, the south side of the cottage has a whole wall of 6 windows facing south. We can clean up cobwebs outside and the spiders will move back in within a few days. We consider them beneficial because they catch the tiny flying insects that are around. The windows get cleaned a few times a year, and have recently been washed, but after a rain, snow or a few windy days, the windows can get dirty fast. (6)Regarding the refrigerator and cleaning, we have a new house cleaner that started in October who is much more thorough than our last cleaner. (7)Our guest manual and our message board in the house have our phone number posted for guests to get ahold of us for anything they need, such as when they notice a thermostat battery needs replacing :) (8)There was a fence under construction by our tiny house in the far back of the yard last September. The fence is now complete and the parking area has been cleaned up. The tiny house is a personal space and not for guests at this time.
Please check out our other reviews, which are almost exclusively 5 stars over the last 2 years.

Lovely place! Central location!
We were so fortunate to find this comfortable two-bedroom
cottage. It was in a perfect location with easy access to I-25
and all the tourist attractions up Rt. 24, north to the Air Force
Academy, and south to Cheyenne Mtn and Royal Gorge. We
had a nice private garden area in the back and no noise from
other tenants. We liked the big windows, the skylight in the
kitchen, the cute decorations, the lights in the backyard and all
the DVDs, games and books. There were plenty of linens and
the kitchen is very well-equipped with up-to-date appliances,
dishes, and pans. We ate out on deck many times, enjoying
the cool weather and view of the mountains. The owners,
Joshua and Joanna, were really nice and responsive to any con-
cerns. If you want a great place to stay while seeing the sights
in Colorado Springs, this is it!

Great location for our visit
Amenities were very good. Decor was in keeping with the area. The yard was really cute and I would have spent a lot of time out there, except we had a lot of rain during our stay. I’d love to stay here again.

We are taking on the family tradition of Bed and Breakfast-ing and excited for you to share it with us. Our Garden Cottage promises that you will be absolutely delighted at every turn. New appliances and an upgraded custom bathroom ensure you will have comfort as well as function!
