This house is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. Plenty of space without being on top of each other. A short walk to a beautiful beach. I wish we could have stayed longer.
The house was in a great neighborhood. My husband and I took daily walks with our dog through the neighborhood. Very nice well-maintained homes and friendly folks. Beach house may be inconvenient if traveling with elderly or toddlers as there are several steps to access main living area and you have to walk next to and cross a busy roadway to get to beach access. However, my family and I didn't have any issues with either of those things. House could use a good deep cleaning, but it wasn't nasty by any means. We ate at a place called "Aunt Kate's" that was just a couple blocks from the home. It was great! We would definitely stay here again. Do note that the parking pass for downtown St. Augustine isn't offered any longer. We didn't have any issue with paying the money to use the parking garage downtown.
We enjoyed our stay at the beach bungalow. It is close to all the necessities needed for a beach stay.

Fun beach house and great location!
Stayed here with the whole family and loved it! Short walk to the secluded beach, the house had everything we needed, and the owner was very helpful and accommodating! We will definitely plan on coming back again the next time we stay in the area.
This is the cutest beach bungalow!! I love the decor and the outside setup and scenery is so peaceful. We had such a wonderful time. The beach was very chill and never crowded and such a short walk. We would love to come back again.
I was recovering from back surgery so we didn’t do much but enjoy the home and the beach. It was very relaxing and nice to be able to bring our pups! We will definitely be back!
We loved our stay. John was very responsive and kind. The beach house came with everything you can think of, including towels and an air fryer. Beautiful beach, but the property is more like 120 steps from the beach and you have to cross A1A.
Closer to beach now as stairways were added at 18th and 20th streets

Great location, would stay there again
Far enough out of town so that it’s quiet but close enough that you can head into St Augustine if you wish.
Minor issue with the Wi-fi but John sorted it immediately.
Nice house, great location and just what we needed for a little vacation. Would definitely return.
This property feels like home. We have stayed here each visit to Saint Augustine. The first time, we got engaged in 2022. This year, we got married and stayed at the property. John was great to communicate with before and during our stay. Each visit has been 10/10. I highly recommend staying here. The walk to the beach is short and easy. The beach was perfect and clean. Our dog also enjoyed the beach area. If you’re coming into town, stay here!
We had such a great time at this house. It was a short, easy walk to the beach. There was plenty of room to spread out, it was exceptionally clean, and the owners were attentive. We really appreciated the parking card for parking in downtown St. Augustine. We are regular visitors to St. Augustine and know that parking can be expensive. We also appreciated the restaurant recommendations.
Overall it was a fantastic long weekend, and our only regret was not being able to stay longer!
My family and I visit St. Augustine every year after Christmas. This beach house was old and rustic with some new updates inside. Besides no door on the upstairs bedroom, I wouldn’t say we had any complaints about the property at all. John was a perfect host. He even gave us parking passes to downtown. If you don’t know it’s at least 20 a day to park and with this it was free everyday. We loved the location. We literally walked across the street and we were on the beach. We look forward to visiting again and staying in this area. Thanks John for your hospitality.
Home was clean and only a short walk to the beach. Host was easy to communicate with. Had everything we needed and extras. We celebrated the 4th of July and our wedding anniversary.
It was everything we wanted. Great location for the beach and downtown. Private and quiet area. John was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.
So lucky to have found this place. The property is clean and tidy. The owners had supplies provided. Our dog came as well and gave it 4 paws up! Super easy to reach the property owner too. It was my birthday and the owners left a bottle of delicious wine for the occasion. I ended up being proposed to on the nearby beach as well!! A trip to remember. Will definitely book this home again. 10/10 stars!!
Cottage was a gem and very accurately depicted in the write up.
Loads of space and being across the road from the beach was not a deterrent at all as the pathway through the dunes was close by.
If you want a 5 star resort this place is probably not for you but if you are looking for a comfortable, laid back and un-pretentious cottage, I strongly recommend this spot.
We really enjoyed staying here. It was perfect for myself, my husband, and my dog. It was set-up for entertaining. It would be a great house to go with another couple. We are used to staying right on the beach, so I was kind of nervous having to walk, but the walk to the beach was not bad at all!
We had a great time at this property. The house was very clean and nice. The kitchen looked to be recently updated and was well stocked. The master bedroom was very nice but we ended up staying in the guest room to avoid the extra stairs up to the master. The area was extremely quiet and peaceful and perfect for us. The beach is just a very short walk and also quiet and isolated. We were a little disappointed that we couldn't see the ocean at all due to the building next door but still a great location. The house is also very close to a grocery store and only about a 10 minute drive to downtown St. Augustine. The owner was very nice and helpful as well and responded quickly to any questions. The only minor downside for us was having to constantly carry our small dogs up and down stairs to go outside but from reading previous reviews we were aware of this before we went and knew what to expect. Overall I would happily rent this house again and definitely recommend to anyone that does not have an issue with using stairs.
House was lovely. Location great. Beach nice and quiet. Husband fished almost every day and caught a lot of Whitings and Bluefish. Coming back next year!
Excellent location, easy check-in and communication with the host. It was nice having chairs, towels, and a tent for the beach. Love the privacy and distance from everything.
