The view makes the climb up the 158 stairs completely worth it. As soon as you step inside, you're greeted by a stunning panoramic view of Avalon. The house is three stories tall and worked wonderfully for our family. The main level features a convenient bedroom and bathroom right off the kitchen, perfect for my dad. The lower second level has Jack-and-Jill bedrooms, each with its own deck overlooking the water, plus a full bathroom and an alcove room with bunk beds. The lowest level is home to the master bedroom and another full bathroom.Overall, our stay was excellent. The house is older, so the carpet could use a deep cleaning or updating, and some of the bedding and pillows could be refreshed. That said, the kitchen was very well-equipped, we cooked breakfast every morning and dinner a couple of times. The rest of our meals were enjoyed in town.Helpful tips: Bring your own beach towels and be prepared to do a lot of walking. Note that rented golf carts are not allowed on Middle Terrace Road. We used Ride Circuit for transportation a few times, it worked well one evening, but they close at 9:00 pm and can be very busy in the mornings.Highly recommend this home for its incredible views and great layout!
