Five night stay with old school friends in this oversize Penthouse suite, extremely clean, beautifully furnished, with crisp clean sheets and very comfortable beds. Pleasant views over the bay, within walking distance to Marina and restaurants. Well worth the stay!

Paradise breeze

Such a stunning penthouse. So spacious, clean and well equipped. Perfect location - central to cafes and shops. The breeze that would gush through the apartment was heavenly. Would definitely love to stay there again.

New Years Eve family getaway

We had a wonderful time staying at Nelson Bay. The apartment was everything you could hope for. It was very spacious, plenty of room for everyone. We love cooking when we all get together and the well appointed kitchen made it easy and enjoyable. The beds were very comfortable as was the lounge! A great view of the water and the New Year's Eve Fireworks as well. I would highly recommend this property to other families.

A perfect location for a family getaway

It's an easy walk to Dutchman's Beach, Little Nelson Bay, and of course everything in Nelson Bay proper. The apartment itself is perfect - lots of room, lovely views, a well appointed kitchen. We really enjoyed our time here.

Great Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a great stay. The Penthouse was just lovely. Clean and well equipped. Had everything we needed. It was a great size for 6 people with 2 bathrooms. The only thing I would change, is maybe take out the big mats located in the living and bedroom areas. I feel this could prove to be a tripping hazard, especially for older guests. Work was being done on the rooftop, so we couldn't use the balconies, which was a little disappointing. Restaurants and shopping were located very close by.All in all a wonderful stay.

It was not great

Overall experience was not great! The day we arrived the building lift wasn’t working we had to walk up the stairs to the last level with my elderly mum and baby was horrible experience. The house wasn’t that clean especially the bed sheets wasn’t even washed luckily we had brought our own bed sheets despite that my nephew had bed bugs bites all over his body so not great experience.

Hi Zohra, Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the lift not functioning during your stay. Unfortunately, we were not notified by the managing strata about the lift issues, and due to recent damaging winds and a power outage, the necessary repairs were delayed. Had we known about the situation prior to your arrival, we would have definitely contacted you to arrange alternate accommodation to avoid any discomfort. Regarding the cleanliness concerns, we take them very seriously. We did not receive any calls from you during your stay to advise of any cleaning issues nor bed bugs. The penthouse has recently been fitted with all new mattresses, and the linen is professionally dry cleaned and delivered in sealed bags. Based on this, we find it difficult to believe there were bed bugs, and no previous guests have raised any similar issues. The bites your nephew experienced could possibly have been from mosquito bites or sea lice, especially if you had visited the beach for a swim. We deeply regret that your experience was affected by these circumstances and will continue to work to improve our services. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Stay Port Stephens
