CSA PALACIO SAN JOSÉ V — Baroque Elegance and Contemporary Comfort
Casa Palacio San José is the result of the exquisite rehabilitation of a noble house from the 17th century, neighbour to the enclosed convent of the Dominicans. Restored with fidelity and sensitivity by the prestigious architect Rafael Manzano, the property is today one of the best examples of Andalusian palace architecture.
The building
Access is made through the imposing gate at 7 San José Street. Behind the entrance hall and its wrought-iron gate, the first courtyard and a furnished room open up, leading to the majestic main courtyard, a porticoed space with Roman marble columns, fountains, landscaped terraces, and pergolas that provide coolness throughout the year. It is a true delight for lovers of history, architecture, and traditional craftsmanship.
The apartment (2 bedrooms)
San José V, one of the five independent apartments of the palace, is accessed directly from the central courtyard, a superb space that anticipates the lordly character of the interior.
The apartment welcomes the guest with a luminous living-dining room, articulated in a unique space where a complete kitchen designed with ingenuity is integrated. The decoration combines antique furniture, modern pieces and colourful textiles that bring dynamism and warmth. The marble floors, the height of the ceilings and the high-end carpentry constantly remind one of the palatial nature of the property.
On the left is a first bedroom, equipped with a 160 × 200 cm bed, bedside tables, a beautiful antique wardrobe and a complete en-suite bathroom.
The second bedroom stands out for a delicate artistic ceramic mural that acts as a headboard. It features a double bed, a large-capacity antique wardrobe, bedside tables, an upholstered armchair and its own en-suite bathroom, ensuring privacy and comfort for each guest.
The apartment is fully air-conditioned and equipped.
The terraces
The culminating point of the experience is found on the third floor, where the large landscaped terraces and the solarium with a rain shower form an authentic urban oasis. Perfect for breakfast outdoors, sunbathing or enjoying golden Seville at sunset. On this floor, the common laundry area (washer and dryer) and clotheslines available in each apartment are also located.
Exceptional location
Located in the heart of historic Seville, just a 5-minute walk from the Cathedral and the Giralda, Casa Palacio San José offers immediate access to the city's main cultural, gastronomic, and monumental attractions: Murillo Gardens, Santa Cruz Neighbourhood, shops, museums, and countless charming corners.
The set
The property houses five independent apartments: San José I, II, III, IV and V, with a total capacity for 22 guests. There is the possibility of booking several of them or even the entire house for groups.

This is a perfect location for a first visit to Seville. Easy to get around, lots good places to eat, a market close by. The apartment is lovely with a great rooftop terrace.
Apartment was lovely. Had all the charm of historic Seville in a great location. The building and the rooftop terrace are magical. Communication with host was easy and our greeting from Alfredo was warm and welcoming. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
We loved the house, the entrance so typically with the fountains and the roof terrace
We had a very nice time here and might come back. The apartment is in the very shadow of the palace, which makes it fabulous in summer, in winter it is a bit dark, but entering through the Main door looking through the gate and coming into the first atrium with two fountains on, is lovely. Water means life and it reaches your right away. Restauran Moyo was perfect for breakfast.
It is a traditional house with an internal courtyard. Old, but looking like new. Sometimes we turned off the AC and opened windows for better ventilation. It was much cooler inside even on the hot afternoon. There is a couple of restaurant in the proximity of the house. One of them is working even in siesta hours.
The apartment was tiny but cute and spotlessly clean which was my main concern. Beds were very comfortable. My husband and I stayed with our two sons and it worked for us.
On a side note, the living room had different furniture than what is shown in the picture. The actual couch is gray, the chair is child-sized and there is no rug which was fine with me. you

Thank you Ellen for your review. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. We did change the couch as it was time for the light blue one to go. Chairs remain the same and are adult sized we believe. As for the rug we do remove them for summer to get them cleaned and will put them back when the temperature dropps in Seville now at the end of October. With kind regards from the whole Team.
Very clean, good quality bathrooms,Hans Grohe fittings
Good air con and Wi-Fi
Well located near to Cathedral and Supermarket and Taxis
Ideal for a short stay in Seville
Website shows lovely turquoise sofa and yellow chair, but the sofa was grey and the chair was dark blue.,
On ground floor at rear of building, with little natural light and no exterior views, apart from the courtyard
There was just 2 of us and we found it rather small
But we were impressed with the quality furnishings and overall style
Would recommend for a short stay

Thorough the very small streets of old Sevilla, the apartment was beautiful set inside this classic building, behind some wrought iron gates and bougainvillea and white and blue tiles as well as an inside patio with a water fountain. Breathtaking! Finding the recommended parking was difficult and scary, we couldn't turn with our car on some streets, so we opted for parking little further away where there was more space to maneuver.
Communication with the team was excellent. from the beginning they coordinated our arrival with the agent that was going to greet us at the place.
Apartment has everything you need, rooms are a little small if you have a big suitcase, but my husband and our two sons manage perfectly. walking around the neighborhood is super safe, there are a lot of people around until late. THANKS for a wonderful stay!

We loved our visit - the location was ideal and the apartment was clean, well appointed and comfortable. The apartment was a little smaller than we envisioned but perfect for our needs. Loved that there were two bathrooms. The building and shared spaces are really beautiful. We loved the roof deck area.
We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend that you stay there too. The apartment was better than we expected. The unit was very clean and communication with the hosts could not have been better . The garden and terrace were very relaxing and kept cool during the heat of the day . If you go to Sevilla do yourself a favor and stay here .
