This was a dream property with all the amenities that make your stay so welcoming & enjoyable. I think Rose & Harold thought of everything! The comfort level is just amazing between the best bedding to a great kitchen with all the conveniences you could imagine. They included all the water boards & kayaks & floats you needed. Access to the dock was easy, and the rainbow river is just gorgeous. You actually have access to grocery stores in 5 min from the house. Great vacation!

Perfect Place to for Decompressing

Family and friends gathered to celebrate a special occasion and could not have had a better base of operations. The space was perfect for our large group and the kayaks and paddleboards made exploring the Springs easy.

Great Family Vacation Cottage!

Dragonfly Cottage exceeded my family's expectations! The access to kayaks, paddle boards, and other river toys gave my children plenty of activities to do. I was worried we would not see any otters, but they finally made an appearance on the last afternoon of our stay. I would definitely recommend this place and I plan to come back again.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay at our home and the otters made a visit! They usually come early in the morning and later in the afternoon everyday when the river traffic calms down. Come back again and enjoy our little piece of paradise!

Easter weekend getaway

We stayed for Easter weekend and we fell in love with this home. Such a beautiful lot on the river set back off the road with tall pine trees and beautiful cypress trees by the dock. The hosts were so nice and responsive. We will definitely be back for another stay! Our new favorite in the Rainbow River.

Excellent House on Rainbow River!

This home is beautiful and well maintained. It has a small dock for launching your kayaks and or paddle boards. The property also has a fire pit area with chairs and a large back porch for relaxing. Our family loved the location right on Rainbow River. The rental included kayaks, paddle boards, life jackets and mask/snorkels. It’s an easy paddle up the river to Rainbow Springs State Park. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely perfect! This home and its property are a slice of heaven. It has everything you could possibly want or need to have an amazing time on Rainbow River. The views from the house are serene and relaxing. The comfortable seating everywhere made it more than easy to forget about the world outside. We never looked for something we needed and couldn’t find it here. We had so much fun fishing, paddle boarding, swimming, sitting by the camp fire and cooking up delicious meals. The bedrooms were very comfy cozy and the entire home is decorated so beautifully. The Lamperts thought of everything and we are so grateful they did. We are already planning a trip back in September. Do not miss out on this extraordinary piece of property on the river. Hopefully your family will have as much fun as we did!
