Wonderful

Super clean…location was excellent and beds were very comfortable. One block from Saint Mary’s which was ideal, I had both parents in the hospital at the same time so the stress was minimal, could walk to the hospital and back to let our dogs out. Owner is very kind and always quick to respond. Will absolutely stay here again!

Clean and charming too!

House was very clean and had tons of nice touches. We stayed for two weeks while a family member was recovering at Mayo. Beautiful location, with just the right amount of furniture, dishes, decor. Very thoughtful in meeting the needs of the guests. I appreciated laundry baskets, clothes hangers, extra garbage bags and other household supplies.

This was the perfect house for us to stay in during our 3.5 weeks at St. Mary's. It was clean & as pictured. Close to everything, felt like a safe area, and a cozy house to come home to. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have washer/dryer and reliable wifi. We were walking distance to several restaurants, etc., but we were happy that we had rented a car to more easily get around Rochester. The owner was quick to respond to any questions or concerns. A couple of things to note that I just failed to notice when booking: there is an adorable 2-person counter for dining but no dining table (in case that is important to you; we didn't mind) and the back parking area is not paved (which can make snow a challenge, but only really impacted us for a few days during a major snow storm). Overall a great stay and we wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if we return.

This was a great place to stay! We loved it and would stay here again. Pros: Excellent proximity to the hospitals. A 4 min bike ride or 12 min walk to BOTH St. Mary’s and Methodist. Extremely clean. Not a speck of dirt inside. Well stocked with paper products linens and kitchen supplies. Comfortable beds and pillows. Communicative host. Adorable, historic, and impeccably restored. Cons: this is an old house, built in the 1930s, so there is no garage, steps to enter, only one small bathroom. Limited dining space.

Hello! I’m originally from China and have been living in Rochester, Minnesota for 16 years — it has truly become my second home. I’ve been hosting and renting properties here for the past 11 years, and I’ve had the pleasure of welcoming guests from all over the world.

I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and take pride in providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming space for everyone.

I’m also a big animal lover and have two adorable dogs of my own. I understand how much pets mean to their owners — they’re more than companions, they’re family. That’s why I gladly welcome guests traveling with pets, and I hope my home can feel like a second home for both you and your furry friend.

宝姐:
In the past, I struggled a lot because my English isn’t very good. I often had trouble communicating with guests, and sometimes that led to misunderstandings. It was painful — not because I didn’t care, but because I couldn’t find the right words to express myself. My heart has always been warm and open, but I often felt frustrated and even discouraged when I couldn’t connect the way I wanted to.

There were times I felt like giving up on this hosting journey. But hosting is part of my life, and I knew I had to keep going.

Now, I’m grateful to have the help of ChatGPT. It helps me express my thoughts more clearly and respond more fully to guests’ needs. I truly feel that I can connect better than ever before, and that brings me so much joy.
If you ever have questions or special requests, please feel free to message me — I’m always happy to respond with care and support.

Why they chose this property

What makes this property unique

This home is perfect for both short visits and extended stays in Rochester. It’s within walking distance to Mayo Clinic, St. Mary’s Hospital, and downtown. Guests will also enjoy easy access to local parks, shopping, restaurants, and cozy coffee shops.
