This three story property sits on the edge of Dollar Point, which is less than a four mile drive into downtown Tahoe City. Being so close in proximity to restaurants, grocery stores, and retail shops, this home's location is perfect for a quick trip to grab what you need during your vacation. Take a day trip in the winter to any of the 4 neighboring mountain resorts as close as 9 to 15 miles door to door. With a fireplace to come home to and warm up after playing in the snow, this mountain home is the perfect place to call home base.

This spacious three story lakefront property can accommodate 12 people, making it a perfect fit for two families looking to enjoy the best attributes of staying in Lake Tahoe. The top floor features the kitchen with bar seating and a dining room connecting the living room with stunning south facing views of Lake Tahoe. The living room opens up to overlooking views of the lake from the back deck. Here you will find a grill and an outdoor space to entertain, which is nestled behind an old pine tree. There are a variety of sleeping arrangements on the middle and bottom floor that are suitable for both adults and kids. The 5 bedroom accommodations (one with 2 twins and the other with 4 bunk beds) has a great variety of options for sleeping arrangements.

Parking:
Parking is available for 3 cars total. All cars must park on the driveway, or garage. No street parking per county ordinance.
Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

Other things to Note:
* Renters must be 25+
* This is a non-smoking home.
* Pets are not allowed at this home.
* Maximum Occupancy per county ordinance is 12 adults.
* Use of the BBQ is not guaranteed in winter months, due to limited access.
* Use of outdoor furniture is not guranteed in the winter.
* Like most homes/condos in Tahoe, this one does not have Air Conditioning. There will be fans available for your use!
* Your safety matters. This property may features exterior security cameras. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras will continuously record video and sound while guests are in residence.

What a Location!

Sitting right on Lake Tahoe with an amazing view from the deck, this house was perfect for our stay. Eclectic and original yet livable, we were able to spread out easily and really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful "old Tahoe" style cabin. Quirky but charming. Our kids LOVED playing hide and seek on the 3 different levels. It was close and convenient to Tahoe city shopping / dining / attractions and you can't beat the view!

Fantastic location! Gorgeous views from deck off the kitchen area and then down the stairs to the beach. The check-in and out processes were easy and the communication was immediate with any questions. Thank you! Super responsive and always helpful! Little things needed some attention, loose towel bars, downstairs fridges not working, kinds of things. Our family loved our time there!

Great family getaway!

Great place to stay with plenty of options for sleeping. The house was a bit dated, but well kept. Property management was very responsive to any inquiries. The only thing we were disappointed with is the fact we did not have access to the local tennis and pickle ball courts nearby.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view from the house was magnificent. Truly. We loved that upstairs was dining, living, and kitchen and bedrooms were on lower floors. Fireplace was lovely. Kitchen was very well stocked. VERY dated Tahoe cabin decor. So dated it was kinda nostalgic. We would stay here again for view and comfort!

The House we rented was not cleaned properly. We had rodent droppings on the beds. Pet hair on the sofas, Spider webs all over the house. The rooms were infested with spiders. My kids has to sleep on the floor in the living room because of the amount of spiders we found in one of the rooms. We even saw a rat running around the kitchen. I reached out to the property management and they said they would send someone to address the issues. No one showed up to fix the problems. I don’t recommend anyone renting this property or do business again with Tahoe Rental Company.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Here is something I have to share here due to our terrible experience during this Thanksgiving. First of all, Tahoe rental company is good for communication when we meet troubles in this house. BUT this place is too hard to live and enjoy holiday. 1.This house must be remodeled ASAP.2.A Rat was running in the house. 3.Died flys in bathroom.4.Central Heater is weak.5.Bathroom has mold smell.6.Two bathroom locks not work. People were locked themselves in many times.7.Bedding has stains.8.Many duvets no covers.9.Whole house not clean as we expected also not as it should be.10.Weird bunk bed for 4 ppl with dirty beddings. Used tissue paper was found under the sheet. Even this house is under rental company management, how come it still provides such terrible and horrible experience. We feel paying $5117.12 is not worth it. The only thing I could say not bad is rental company staff picked up emergency call at Thanksgiving night and delivered some small heaters to us.

Amazing View and Location - Room for improvement

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my first time using VRBO. I had been using AirBnB for both personal and business travel. I now much more prefer VRBO. The place has a fantastic view of the lake and nothing beats drinking coffee in the morning on that balcony. The kitchen is awesome! Very well stocked and lots of great tools to cook with. The location is just a few minutes away to a few restaurants, great coffee shops and grocery stores. Ideal!Unfortunately, there are some glaring opportunities. 1. The house smells musty, we opened up all the windows to air it out, but old carpet is old carpet.2. Spiders/webs everywhere! In every room and window there were not only cobwebs but big brown spiders. I sat on the couch next that's adjacent to the main bedroom and a spider was crawling on my neck. I'm sure that had we reached out to the property management company they would have sent someone to clean it all up, but I didn't want to inconvenience my family with having to leave the place. 3. The garage door needs to be repaired. We were following the rules and guidance for parking and when we open the garage door it nearly fell off! I somehow caught it before it could do damage. 4. The furniture and grill were a mess! I spent 45 minutes cleaning the grill before use. I also cleaned it afterwards so the next guest could enjoy it. Would I recommend this property to a friend? Yes, but the items above would need to be addressed. Also, some updates wouldn't hurt.
