This is a historic original adobe casita in the oldest neighborhood in Albuquerque, Barelas, owned by the long term residents of Burque, this is not a corporate investment. With off street parking, beautiful trees and garden, very private, secluded front patio and back yard. Secured doors and windows, very quiet and super cute. Newly plastered, freshly painted, complete tiled floors, remodeled bathroom, bright, full kitchen, full size fridge, separate wash/dryer room, mini-splits keep the air conditioning, (it's hot here!) and heat flowing. Walking distance to the Rio Grande Bosque, bike trails/nature walks, downtown, breweries, the Hispanic Cultural Center and Alvarado Train Station, & bus station, *take a train to Santa Fe for the Day!. Near Tingley Beach, Botanical Gardens, Route 66 and Old Town. Off the beaten track for the travelers that likes to avoid the tourist traps, wants privacy and loves green space. For the chillier nights there is a wood burning stove. You will enjoy your little casita. The location is great.
