Only 20 minutes from ABQ Airport and 25 minutes from downtown, Old Town and Nob Hill, the Little Bird Casita is near to all the cultural activities, museums, fine and casual dining and shopping one might desire.

The lower level has a fully equipped kitchen and living area, including a fold-out queen size bed and half bathroom with a washer and dryer. There are double doors leading to a comfortable outdoor patio.

Upstairs, an open suite with a queen bed, full bathroom and additional living area is perfect for relaxing, reading, working or resting. There is a balcony with clear views of the Sandias, Southern Rocky Mountains, Pajarito Open Space and the historic Hubbel Gutierrez House and Farm.

Walking and hiking trails are close by. You will be enchanted by the New Mexico sunsets.

What a beautiful casita! Everything was absolutely perfect — so well appointed and beautifully decorated, an oh-so-comfortable bed, coffee in the morning, and privacy galore. The house and grounds are spacious with a lovely park with a half a block with a lovely walking/running track. David was so welcoming and friendly —and a true dog lover. Gracie was in heaven with the outside area to lounge around in. I look forward to our next trip to Albuquerque. This is the only place we’d stay!

Lovely & Serene

This property was so nice and peaceful in a very beautiful neighborhood. The casita is a stand alone property next the owner's home but they are not connected. The grounds were so lovely and the weather was perfect! I loved that they had green grass for my dog Max! The inside was warm and cozy with lots of room and it had everything I needed. I hope to return again soon! I had a wonderful stay!

Cute little bird.

This casita is described as a 2 bedroom and it is not. There is a bedroom upstairs and a pullout sofa downstairs with no door. The coffee maker was filthy and the countertop was dirty. I recommend bringing some Clorox wipes. The decor was darling and the art work is beautiful. It was nice to see all the stars ⭐️ at night.

Little Bird Casita was too wonderful for words! Our hosts, David and Joanie, were extremely hospitable and communication was great. The casita was filled with beautiful art, giving us a sweet sense of the culture and history of the Southwest. Every little amenity was carefully incorporated into that lovely space. Little Bird was the perfect location for our base as we enjoyed Albuquerque and daily explored other NM cities. Some of our favorite discoveries were the New Mexico Museum of Geology & Mineral Resources, the Nuclear Museum, The Indian Pueblo Culture Museum (a must see! And, there is a nice restaurant there!), the Ice Cave and Bandera Volcano, the Sandia Peak Tramway, the Georgia O'Keefe Museum, the NM History Museum (and all things Santa Fe!), Taos shopping, White Sands National Park, Pistachioland, the Jemez Pueblo (gorgeous fall color and lovely local people!), Soda Dam, Battleship Park, Red Rock, Valles Caldera, the Petroglyph National Monument, The Back Country Trail, and hiking the mountain trails as well as the walking trail behind the casita! It was so nice to come back to the comfort and beauty of Little Bird at the end of each fun day. We highly recommend this VRBO. It could not have been more perfect!

This is an excellent rental. A real gem! It was clean, well supplied, roomy, comfortable bed, great in every way. Very peaceful. There is a balcony. We so much enjoyed sitting there in the afternoon, reading and watching birds. Even a Road Runner made a few visits! This location is great! We are bird watchers. We were able to easily get to a number of bird watching hot spots. Stores and restaurants were close by. The owners are extremely nice and helpful. We highly recommend this rental.
