The Wine Barrel is absolutely amazing! We had a lot of fun enjoying the beautiful view, the hot tub and relaxing next to the fireplace. Beach and Mendocino are nearby. So we could spend some quality time exploring nearby trails and beaches. We will visit again!

We had a really nice time staying here with our two dogs. The location is quiet, peaceful, and just a short drive to several beaches and Mendocino village. The space itself was comfortable and tidy (as long as you're ok with some surface dust and cobwebs) with a decent kitchen, space heaters, and simple, comfy furniture. The wood stove and hot tub were both in good condition and kept us warm and cozy. We'll be back!

What an absolute gem! Peaceful, cozy, and gorgeous, this rental makes you feel removed from the world and cared for in all the most important ways. The windows overlooking the foggy water and surrounded by trees made for an otherworldly experience... which was even MORE glorious in a hot tub! It was easy to drive up and down 1 to get to Mendocino, parks, and the coast, so we will definitely come back!

The Wine Barrel is absolutely wonderful. Great view, beautiful location, cute and quirky. We lit the wood burning stove, and it was so, so cozy. We'll be back!

Visit to Wine Barrel

We have stayed at Wine Barrel maybe 6 time over the past 30 years. It is exactly as we remember (although now there is internet). View is awesome, had an awesome time chilling out.

Peaceful and cozy

The Barrel House was wonderful; charming, comfortable, and quiet. We loved the access to the Mendocino Coast as well as the Anderson Valley. The view was amazing. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful setting
